On Thursday April 29th, David and I went to see his Gastro Doc.  He scheduled him for a colonoscopy on Thursday.   The stuff they give you to take before made him really sick.   Instead of cleaning him out, he was vomiting instead.  All night every hour on the hour we were up and he was very sick.   That morning I barely got him to the hospital.  ( Read more... )

I've been waiting to hear how it went.

And now I read this.

Oh honey. My prayers are all about you two tonight. You'll be in my thoughts.

*hugs*

Hi Teena,

You haven't posted in a long time and I wanted to check in and see how things are going with you and Dave... how's he doing? How are *you* doing? Please do let me know, because I have been thinking about you.

Love,
L

Hi! I was just thinking about you! I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. We've been so crazy. David is doing okay for now. He's started Chemotherapy. We have our second dose tomorrow. We traveled to Texas back in June for a second opinion. The information was basically the same as we'd gotten here so we decided to come back home for treatment. His doctor in Texas set him up on a treatment plan and his oncologist in Knoxville is following that.
I am trying to do okay. I have my moments where I'm overwhelmed by grief but most of the time I try my best to positive for him. I still have faith that he will pull through this and beat cancer. I tell him he has no choice. LOL...
So how are things with you? Are you doing okay? How's things at home?
