Hospital
On Thursday April 29th, David and I went to see his Gastro Doc. He scheduled him for a colonoscopy on Thursday. The stuff they give you to take before made him really sick. Instead of cleaning him out, he was vomiting instead. All night every hour on the hour we were up and he was very sick. That morning I barely got him to the hospital. He was so weak. They had trouble with his colonoscopy. He found a tumor in his colon immediately. Instead of going further his doctor suggested he have surgery immediately. So off to Knoxville we went. We are now at Ft. Sanders Medical. He underwent surgery yesterday. The mass was attached to his colon and almost completely blocking that area. There were tumors on his liver and the dr took a nice chunk from that to biopsy. Cancer is the definite diagnosis. We're just waiting now to see how bad the cancer is. I am still holding on to hope that we can beat this. I know we can. Thank you to everyone for your prayers. It's made such a difference. He is doing fantastic today. He's set up and been drinking water. He's sore of course but doing soooo well. We have a long road but it's one we'll take by our Faith in Almighty God. Not to mention the support of some wonderful friends and family. Keep praying and We love you all.
