My friend Primett's father, Primus, passed away and his funeral will be on Tuesday. He was in his seventies and died peacefully in his sleep. When I talked to Primett a while ago she said that the doctors didn't expect him to live much longer with his heart being as bad as it was. There's an older guy in the Philly church that calls me that. I love it too. I'm sorry about your loss and your friend's... I can't imagine how hard that must be to lose a dad at 25.

The title to the meme you just posted caught my attention... from Romans 14:8, right? "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's." What a comforting verse... not even life or death can come between us and the power of His love.

Yes, you're right. :) Romans 14:8 is a favorite of mine. It has been since I was child. I find great comfort in knowing I'm truly the Lord's in life as well as in death.

I have to work this weekend, otherwise I would definitely be there tomorrow to see you and for Bible study. :) I miss you, and must see you next time I'm down here. That should actually be in a few weeks.
