i am reminded of second year when kate lee wrote in here about how she would wake up and put all of her books and other shit on her bed and then when she went to bed, she would put all her books and other shit on the floor.

the last two months/week have been a roller coaster. so much frustration and un-placeable anger.

but its all better now, and for real. sometimes a lot of yelling and then that thing that everyone thinks makes it better really does fix things.

it's effing hot today. i'm getting sick of working so late and sleeping all day. it's no good.

going to nashville in just over a week. that will be good. i need to save some money for drinks and the like between now and then.

the other cook/kitchen manager is quitting on monday, giving me the job pro tem for the rest of the summer. i'm looking forward to this - it will be fun, tech me some more responsibility and make my resume look a little bit stronger. i need to hire someone else though. the third cook can only work a few hours, and early in the week, so if we don ( Read more... )
