work was fun tonight. i like it better when it's busy. the night goes by much faster, and i feel like i'm actually earning my money. how late i work is really starting to annoy me though. i don't hang out anymore. i cut myself again tonight. i'm learning.
david and i made the best dinner tonight. i bought i cookbook by anthony bourdain, my cooking/badass hero. we made:
faux-filet au beurre rouge - steak with a red wine and shallot butter [amazing]
pommes sautees au lard - potatoes cooked in bacon fat
and for dessert: a chocolate hazelnut tart pie
i've been spending a lot of time with david this summer. he has the same doomful schedule as i, which my work schedule helps. it's been fun. cooking with him is always great. we have goodtimes.
i miss school. i'm really feeling it right now. i need to go to new york soon. i might not be going to nashville. that would suck.
