Yeah, I find it just incredible that these things are even an issue. We should be at a point where people who believe in - and talk about it openly - shit like this should just be laughed off the podium or pitied, men and women both. Instead, it's actually a real "discussion." It's like the 20th century never happened.

Yes and every day I read or hear about something else. Like now an Alaskan rep wants to make it mandatory for the woman to get the man's permission before she can have an abortion. That's completely bullshit, but thanks for jumping on the bandwagon, Alaska. It's very dark ages.

I keep being shocked, somehow, even though I should know better. Didn't we settle this already? Isn't access to birth control one of those rights we can take for granted? WHY DO WE KEEP HAVING TO FIGHT THESE SAME STUPID BATTLES OVER AND OVER? Sorry, it just makes me so frustrated and angry. And yes! to your whole rant here.

I think the men behind this see their control slipping away. There's a black guy in the White House, China is the new economic superpower, there's no guarantee anymore that just because you're a white dude you'll have a job or a house or security, you know? And because they can't fix the economy or change all that other stuff, they go after something they think they can control: women's bodies.

I am shocked that people are not more pissed off about it or laughing their incredulous asses off because it's all so completely bullshit. And do NOT apologize for being angry and frustrated about it. That's what they want and what they depend on to pass this shit into law AGAIN is women being too afraid of their own "crazy" emotions to stand up when something is really, truly fucked up and wrong ( ... )
