Key swore that life sometimes just couldn't get worse. School was becoming hectic, and with the thoughts of graduation approaching, he wasn't sure how he'd be able to juggle all of his classes at once. Key was surprised to see that Jonghyun was rather confident in his ability to win one of these most likely rigged carnival games. Jonghyun watched as Key choose a stuffed puppy from the assortiment of prizes. He looked really happy, holding it in his arms, even petting it as if it was a real dog. And the fact that he picked that particular stuffed animal because it reminding Key of him... Well, that made Jong feel even more giddy about winning the game for the other boy.

It was just too cute how he cuddled the pet, a soft pink blush painting his naturally pale cheeks. He laughed at Key's adorable way of joking around, shaking his head in amusement.

"You're right! But I'm definitely the more handsome brother out off the two of us," he said, trying to have a serious facial expression, but soon a bright smile stretched across his lips, the bubbly sensation in his stomach just never leaving him.

Jonghyun's smile turned a bit softer, fonder as Kibum's small hand found its way to cup his cheek. He leant into the touch, lifting his own hand to rest it upon Key's. The boy's words had him both flustered and filled with pride, because damn, Kibum was calling him 'my ( ... )

Why did Key's stomach always have to flip all over the place whenever Jonghyun called him a princess?! And not just a princess, but his princess...god, Key was sure he would start swooning if Jonghyun kept this stuff up ( ... )

Jonghyun took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. The anger at Key's bullies has been simmering through his veins all the time he had made his way towards the younger's house. He was kind of scared of what he would see once Key opened the door... What have those assholes done to his Bummie ( ... )

Key was surprised by Jonghyun's sudden outburst of anger. He'd never seen him speak like this before. He'd been very tame when Key told him the truth about his gender...so Key was surprised to see him act up.

But it also touched him deeply, because...he was mad over Key. Angry for his sake and that let Key know that this guy truly cared for him ( ... )

Jonghyun smiled softly at Key, feeling relieved that he wasn't in too much pain right now. He wish he could keep Kibum away from all the suffering that was on this world, but he knew that it wouldn't be possible. But at least he could be here for the other and make him feel better again ( ... )

Key went still as Jonghyun moved closer and held the ice pack up himself. Having nothing to do with his hands, the younger folded them in his lap obediently, letting Jonghyun the gentleman do as he pleased. Key smiled bashfully in thanks ( ... )

Jonghyun chuckled, pleased with Key's reaction at the sight of his apartment. It was good that he liked it since Jong hoped that the boy would now be spending more of his time here. Jonghyun finally found the bottle of soda and poured some of it into two glasses. He wasn't sure if Key would want to eat anything. Though as he looked through the cupboards he noticed that he would probably need to go shopping as soon as possible... He guessed that they could just order some take-out for today when they got hungry. Taking a few gulps from the soda, he turned around and leaned against the counter, sighing softly and letting his body relax.

His eyes snapped open when he heard Key's sweet voice calling for him. He fixed his gaze on the boy and he was glad that he had put away his glass, because if he hadn't done that he was sure it would lying on the floor now, broken. Oh fuck... He let his eyes wander over Kibum's form clad in only one of his large sweaters, looking so damn sexy, that he felt excess saliva gathering in his mouth... The sight was definitely very very appealing ( ... )

Key grinned immediately upon seeing Jonghyun's startled reaction. His confidence skyrocketed as the other man approached him, Key preparing himself to finally touch Jonghyun properly after all this time ( ... )
