Key swore that life sometimes just couldn't get worse. School was becoming hectic, and with the thoughts of graduation approaching, he wasn't sure how he'd be able to juggle all of his classes at once. Not to mention, his peers at school were giving him more and more trouble, though only the dimwitted ones...the majority of the student body had ( Read more... )

Jonghyun watched as Key choose a stuffed puppy from the assortiment of prizes. He looked really happy, holding it in his arms, even petting it as if it was a real dog. And the fact that he picked that particular stuffed animal because it reminding Key of him... Well, that made Jong feel even more giddy about winning the game for the other boy.

It was just too cute how he cuddled the pet, a soft pink blush painting his naturally pale cheeks. He laughed at Key's adorable way of joking around, shaking his head in amusement.

"You're right! But I'm definitely the more handsome brother out off the two of us," he said, trying to have a serious facial expression, but soon a bright smile stretched across his lips, the bubbly sensation in his stomach just never leaving him.

Jonghyun's smile turned a bit softer, fonder as Kibum's small hand found its way to cup his cheek. He leant into the touch, lifting his own hand to rest it upon Key's. The boy's words had him both flustered and filled with pride, because damn, Kibum was calling him 'my hero'... His heart was beating quickly, just like nearly for the whole duration of this day - it couldn't be healthy. He turned his head slightly, to drop a gentle kiss on the palm of Key's hand, before turning back around to face the boy.

"Anything for you, my princess," he winked, the smile not leaving his lips," But I think I would like to ask for a reward again," he started moving his face closer to Kibum's before leaving a quick kiss on the younger's full lips. He leant back with a grin, stepping back from Key and taking the boy's hand into his own.

"Now let's go get some cotton candy," he voiced out, walking away from the game stand, swinging their joined hands happily, his cheeks a bit flushed at the admittedly innocent, but still really pleasant kiss that he had managed to steal.

Why did Key's stomach always have to flip all over the place whenever Jonghyun called him a princess?! And not just a princess, but his princess...god, Key was sure he would start swooning if Jonghyun kept this stuff up.

Before Key could process it, still daydreaming about how Jonghyun had called him a princess, the older boy's lips were applying pressure to his own. He blinked, keeping his eyes open during the kiss seeing as he hadn't been prepared.

He didn't process everything until he was being dragged over to the cotton candy vendor, his hand swinging courtesy of Jonghyun. A strong blush reached his high cheekbones, coloring them and probably rivaling the color of a tomato at this point. He'd never get used to this! But that was probably the part that...he loved the most about it.

He brightened as they reached the vender who offered a freshly-spun cloud of pink cotton candy. Key's mouth watered at the sight. He hadn't had such a sweet, delectable carnival treat in what felt like eons! He bounced in place excitedly, turning to face Jonghyun.

"Jjongie, can we share a stick of cotton candy? The pink kind? Please?" he asked, his eyes bright with childlike excitement.

The man selling the treat chuckled lightheartedly at Key's little display of begging, extending a stick of cotton candy.

"My, my," he said with a knowing smile, looking at Jonghyun. "You're not going to leave your pretty girlfriend waiting, are you?" he asked playfully, jiggling the stick of fluffy sugar tauntingly.

Key immediately went red at the comment, shifting uncomfortably. "I, uhm....I'm not his...I mean, he's not my..." he trailed off as he ducked his head, not wanting to make Jonghyun feel weird. God, this was so awkward, though! He wasn't sure what to say...

How could Key be so cute? Jonghyun stared a the boy as he looked at him with his beautiful eyes shining with excitment. He felt like under a spell, a silly smile on his lips. He wanted to hug and squeeze Key, because he was being such a cutie and he couldn't handle it!

His eyes widened at the man's comment and it caused him to wake up out of his Key-induced trance. He blinked a few times, honestly not knowing what to say. Obviously they weren't a couple, but Jong couldn't help but to add a 'yet' at the end of that. They weren't a couple... yet. He didn't know if this was just his wishful thinking... Maybe the younger boy didn't even feel the same way about this. But then he was reminded of the kisses and touches and flirtarious words they had shared... That had to mean something, right?

Jonghyun wasn't sure how all this would work out, but he knew that he felt more for Kibum than just mere friendship. He just needed to talk with Jinhee and finish their relationship, then he wouldn't feel guilty about what he was doing with and what he was feeling for Key.

Jonghyun chuckled as he heard Kibum trying to explain that they weren't boyfriend and girlfriend... He wrapped his arm around the boy's waist, smiling at the man, who was still waiting for an understandable answer.

"Well, we're on our second date. I can't really call her my girlfriend yet... But I hope, maybe soon," he said, looking at Key with a fond smile.

He heard the man laugh slightly at his answer.

"Don't wait too long before asking her or she will be snatched away right under your nose! And you look really good together," he gave them a grin, holding out the stick of cotton candy for Jong to take," And here you go! Have fun on your date."

Jonghyun smiled brightly, a faint blush painting his cheeks. They looked good together, really? It made him feel happy to hear something like that from a stranger. He took the cotton candy from the man, paid for it and thanked him for his advice.

Then he lead Key away from the vendour, still holding onto the boy's waist. He smiled at Key, holding out the sweet treat towards the younger boy.

"Here you go, princess... Enjoy your candy," he said, not really knowing if they should talk about what had happened at the cotton candy vendour. Should he explain himself? He wanted to know what Key thought about his statements, but he didn't know how to start this conversation without making it awkward.

"So... um... That guy was nice, huh? Do you think we really do look good together?" He managed to ask before taking some of the cotton candy and putting it into his mouth. He usually didn't eat sweet stuff like that, but he could make an exception. Afterall they were at the fair.

Key squeaked in surprise when he was suddenly pulled flush against Jonghyun's side, their hips bumping together. He shifted awkwardly as he looked at Jonghyun, his eyes wide and his cheeks pink. The only thing he could do was cling to his little puppy plush, hugging it against him.

He blinked when Jonghyun said such humiliating words...but they also seemed so genuine. Key stared at him for a couple of seconds before he returned the fond smile, though his own was a bit shyer.

He giggled softly at the man's next words about how Key would be snatched up if Jonghyun didn't ask soon...well, that was a complete lie, Key would never leave Jonghyun for anyone, but...the words still made him feel fuzzy and warm. The good kind of embarrassed.

He was flattered by the man's next words. They looked good together? Well, Key knew that all along...even if there were the complications of Key actually being a male...they were a good-looking couple, he decided.

They left the vendor, Key enveloped in a happy daze. He felt dizzy with giddiness as Jonghyun lead him away, hand still snug around his waist. He took the stick of cotton candy when Jonghyun offered, his cheeks warming up again when he was called a princess. Damn it, Jonghyun...

"Yeah," he said quietly, honestly, when Jonghyun asked if he thought they looked good together. His heartbeat was ringing in his ears as he ducked his head, wanting to elaborate but finding trouble mustering up the courage to do so.

He spotted an empty bench and, with a soft smile, decided to drag Jonghyun over to it. "Sit with me," he beckoned, taking a seat at the bench and making a noise of happiness when he chomped off a fluffy piece of cotton candy.

"But...anyway..." he continued awkwardly, a bit flustered as he stared down at his legs, eyes tracing the ruffles of his skirt to distract himself. "Well...I mean, I think that we really...compliment each other. We're not bad looking together, you know?" He didn't dare look up, too embarrassed. "I think that anyone would be jealous if they saw us because we're pretty damn cute together," he shrugged, chuckling nervously, picking at the end of his long stockings with his free hand, pinching the material between his fingers.

Jonghyun nodded his head, happily sitting next to Key. He sighed in content as he stretched out his legs in front of him and leant back, relaxing slightly from all the walking around. He smiled as he let his gaze wander over the people and the different rides and vendours. Then he moved his eyes to Kibum, who was enjoying his cotton candy. The boy looked so beautiful, Jonghyun couldn't get enough of looking at him.

Key's words made him feel all giddy, the smile on his lips getting wider. He really thought that they looked cute together? Well, Jong agreed with the younger wholeheartedly... They made a lovely couple. The only problem was... they weren't actually a couple. He sighed, nodding his head in agreement to what Key has stated.

"Don't be so nervous around me, Bummie, alright? You can tell me anything that's on your mind. I won't judge," he said as he saw how Kibum was picking on the ends of his stockings, keeping his gaze fixed on his legs. Looking at those legs Jonghyun forgot for a while what they had been talking about. Absentmindedly, he moved one of his hands to wrap around Key's hand, stopping its fumbling movements. He squeezed the hand, rubbing his thumb over the boy's soft skin.

"I think the same... But you're definitely outshining me when it comes to the cuteness," he chuckled softly, then he sighed as his features got more serious," I'm sorry... I can't help but to feel that I'm putting you in an awkward situation... This meeting was meant to be as friends only, and here I am, not being able to stop flirting with you or keep my hands off you. I... I just can't help myself... But I think I should, because I don't want to lead you on when I'm still... in a relationship," he swallowed thickly, suddenly regretting that he said all that... He had just destroyed their perfect date. But he was feeling so damn guilty about what he was doing.

Key's fidgeting ceased as warm fingers curled around his own. A rush of warmth and comfort shot through his body, but he couldn't help but feel like something was wrong...

He smiled weakly at Jonghyun's words, glancing over at him shyly. But as he continued...well...Key's face fell entirely in a matter of seconds. He ducked his head, pondering the words for a moment before pulling his hand away, instead folding them on his lap to keep them from shaking.

"You're right," he muttered reluctantly. He knew it was going to come to this...now he was so goddamn embarrassed by his behavior. He shouldn't have initiated a kiss in the Ferris wheel and he shouldn't have clung to Jonghyun the whole day like he was...a boyfriend.

"You're right, but...is it bad that I still don't want to stop?" he whispered, lifting his head to gaze at Jonghyun through half-anxious, half-frightened eyes. "Jonghyun, I don't know if you understand how attached I am to you...I've never shown an interest like this in anyone. Never.

"And if you really don't wanna flirt or touch me while you and your girlfriend are still together, then...I don't...I don't think we should hang out until you're single again," he explained, the words like pure acid on his tongue. "Because if this keeps up...we're not going to be able to stop. We're just going to keep stealing touches," he whispered, giving the man beside him a grave look as he clutched his cotton candy, pulling his puppy plush secure against his side.

Even though Jonghyun had expected Key to pull away, it still left him with a feeling of coldness. Because damn, he wanted to touch the other boy so much, he just didn't want to do all this while he was still in a relationship. It wasn't fair to both Key and Jinhee. He felt like a jerk - he didn't want Kibum to think that he was some cold-hearted cheater.

He sighed heavily, running his hand through his hair. He gazed back at Kibum, his eyes soft and understanding, apologetic. He wanted to show the boy that by no means did he mean that he doesn't want to be with Key... Or that he doesn't want to touch him. Because that would be a lie. His fingers yearned to make contact with the other's smooth skin, his lips craving for his kisses.

Hearing Key confess that he already felt so attached to him - both warmed up his heart immensly and made it ache. Jonghyun was truly the first guy to be given such feelings from the younger. He was his first kiss, his first make out session, the first guy that was allowed to hold Key's hand so intimately.

"I know, believe me, I feel the same way... I'm not saying that I regret what we've done today," he kept his gaze fixed on Key, though he noticed that oftentimes the boy's beauty was distracting him, especially when the afternoon sun was shining down on him, creating a sort-of halo around his head," Because I don't regret anything. I meant it when I said that I have never enjoyed a kiss like I enjoyed the one we had in the Ferris wheel. It was amazing... And I want more. Just... I feel like right now, it's not the right time."

Not see Key until he is single? Jonghyun didn't know if he could manage that... He had quickly grown addicted to this boy sitting next to him. But maybe... it was true what he was saying. As today showed, they both found it immensly difficult to keep their hands off of each other. The look in Key's eyes made him shiver, though, and not in a pleasant way...

"I don't know what to do... I don't want you to think that I'm some jerk, who is cheating on his girlfriend. But damn, I'm that jerk! I'm not like this, I swear! I just... You say you've never felt so attached to anyone before... For me, it's the same. I don't think I'm even gay... As cheesy as it may sound, it's just you. Only you make me experience all these emotions and sensations," his gaze was full of longing as he looked at the other boy," So, what's the right thing to do? Because you're right, I can't keep myself from stealing touches."

It was so precious how he observed Key holding tightly onto his new puppy plush. He really seemed to like it and even if the atmosphere was so tense, Jonghyun couldn't help the feeling of pride when thinking that he had won the stuffed animal for the other boy.

Key lifted his head to gaze at Jonghyun worriedly when he called himself a jerk. He wasn't a jerk! Far from it...if anyone was a jerk here, it was Key, and he knew it...and as Jonghyun continued talking, Key just felt more and more horrible about this entire thing. But did he regret it? Honestly...no.

Meanwhile, Jonghyun felt the same...it was a refreshing thought to know that the two both cared for each other in the same way. He wondered if their relationship could bloom into that of...boyfriend and girlfriend. The way Jonghyun looked at him held a strong yearning, as if he might go crazy if he couldn't get his hands on Key. And frankly, it made Key feel like he was on top of the world. He shivered a little under such an intense gaze, playing with the fur of his stuffed animal to keep himself occupied.

"I'm just as confused as you," he admitted. "But I'm so honored that I...that only I can make you feel this way...really, I'm flattered," he confessed, gazing up at Jonghyun from under his long lashes, smiling a little hesitantly.

"But I think the best thing to do now is just...stay away from each other. You know, until everything with your girlfriend is worked out. Then, if you're still interested after that...you have my number," he shrugged, looking away shyly.

"Anyway...we should probably separate ASAP considering how...clingy we are with each other," he coughed, a blush coloring his cheeks as he clutched his cotton candy tighter. "I don't think I trust myself around you any longer," he chuckled, trying to play it off with some humor despite how embarrassed he felt.

He stood, brushing the imaginary dust from his skirt, offering Jonghyun a sincere smile. This felt like the right thing to do, even if it was hard and maybe the slightest bit heartbreaking...but for some reason, he had faith in this decision. He believed that doing something wise like this would pay off in the long run.

"Will you drive me home?" he asked a little guiltily, not liking the fact that Jonghyun had been chauffeuring him around all day.

Jonghyun nodded his head in understanding. Key was right - who knows what would happen if they stayed together for longer? It seemed they didn't manage to behave around each other as friends only. He just thought that Kibum was so damn beautiful and attractive, touching him and talking to him sweetly were like urges that he couldn't control. Which made it very improbable that he would ever loose his interest in the younger... He foresaw that his interest would only grow over the time when he couldn't see Key.

"O-okay... That's probably the best idea. Though I'm sure that I will miss you, Key," he pouted playfully, chuckling," Maybe we can still stay in contact through our phones? I would really like to stay updated on how you're doing," he asked unsurely, not knowing if that would be a good idea, but he didn't want to completely stop talking with Kibum.

He laughed slightly," Believe me, it's damn difficult for me as well. My hands are tingling to touch you," he swallowed thickly, giving the boy a light, sheepish smile.

Getting up as well, he contemplated for a bit if it would be alright to take hold of Key's hand again. But in the end he decided that it probably wasn't appropriate to do so at this moment.

"Sure, I'll drive you home... How could I just leave you here alone," he smiled at the other boy, before starting to walk towards the exit.

He couldn't help but to feel heavy-hearted at the current situation. Their 'date' had been going really great... But he felt like they were behaving maturely right now and making the right choice.

Key smiled guiltily, bowing slightly when Jonghyun agreed to drive him home, muttering a "thank you". His cheeks were still warm from the older boy's previous words, though...his hands were tingling to touch him? God...Jonghyun, don't tempt him!

The two strolled back to the exit in silence. Key kept glancing down at Jonghyun's hand, thinking about how nice it would compliment him to have Key's fingers curled around it...and the crook of his elbow looked so lonely...it was just begging for Key's hand to reach for it...

But he knew he couldn't. They needed to be mature and control their hormones. And Key needed to stop acting like a goddamn teenage boy (even though he sort of...was one)!

Key opened the door himself to the passenger seat, too afraid he might start swooning if Jonghyun were to do it for him. He ducked into the car, climbing in, fiddling with his skirt and tugging it down slightly, embarrassed when it rode up on his thighs.

"I really wanna thank you for all this," Key said just as Jonghyun was climbing into the driver's seat. He glanced over at the other boy, offering a sweet, shy smile, knowing it was the smile that made his humiliating dimples show, but not bothering to care. "I mean it, I had so much fun. Today was one of the best days of my life," he said honestly, his smile growing into a fond grin.

Once they arrived at the car, Jonghyun wanted to open the door for Key as he had always done before. But with slight disappointment he noticed the boy opening the door himself and entering the car. He wanted to take care of Key in every way possible. He sighed, pouting a little, before he sat down in the driver's seat.

Damn, that smile on Kibum's face - it melted his heart... Those adorable dimples that showed on his cheeks, he just wanted to lean over and kiss both of them. He hasn't noticed those before, but now he hoped he would be able to see this particular smile more often, especially when it was directed at him.

"I'm glad that you had fun," he smiled back brightly, turning to look at the other boy, trying to not be distracted by Kibum's beautiful, perfectly-shaped thighs," I want to thank you as well... I really loved spending this day with you. It was great! Oh, and also," he scratched the back of his head," Thank you for coming to the hospital yesterday. I truly appreciate it. It would've been so much more difficult for me without you at my side... So, yeah, thanks a lot, Key-ah."

Nodding his head, he swallowed nervously, before leaning towards Key and engulfing him in a warm hug, wrapping his arms around the boy's shoulders.

"Ah... sorry," he said, moving back with an embarrassed smile.

With a heavy heart he started the car, driving towards Key's house.

Key took Jonghyun's words right to his heart. Key never really saw himself as a quote unquote "good" person...but the fact that Jonghyun said that Key's mere existence made it easier for him to muddle through a rough time...well, that made Key feel pretty damn good about himself. He couldn't believe that someone like him had actually helped Jonghyun. He felt honored to have helped him.

He opened his mouth to respond, but was cut short when Jonghyun's arms rounded his neck and pulled him into a warm embrace. Key closed his eyes almost immediately at the rush of warmth and fond aromas. But just as he was lifting his hands to fist them in Jonghyun's shirt, the other man was pulling back.

Key mirrored his embarrassed smile before looking away, shaking his head. "It's okay." Yeah, touching was off-limits, but...Key would let that one slide.

He shifted a little nervously as the drive home began. "And, um...about your mom. That was really no big deal. Anyone would have done what I did," he shrugged, glancing over at his friend, studying the handsomeness of his profile. Damn, how could a guy so perfect like Key?! It made no sense to the younger...Jonghyun was dashing and charming and had a girlfriend...why on earth would be be so fixed on Key? It didn't make any sense...

"I really hope she's doing okay. I've been thinking about her," he admitted after a moment of thoughtful silence. "I've been praying for her, too. I really hope she feels better soon if she hasn't already," he said, offering Jonghyun a teeny smile.

Jonghyun shook his head in denial. It made him sad how little Key seemed to think of himself sometimes. From what he had noticed over the times they had seen each other, he could tell that the boy had a good heart and that he was a warm, caring person. But somehow he lacked the confidence to believe in that himself. It probably was a result from all the bullying he had received and was still receiving. Jonghyun wished that one day he would be able to show Key what great of a person he truly was and how much he meant to him.

But now wasn't the time for that. Though reluctantly he had agreed to not see the boy until he broke up with his girlfriend. Jonghyun knew that it had been a mature choice, but he still regretted that due to it, they had to end their amazing day at the fair.

"No way, Kibum! It is a big deal! Believe me, not everyone would have done that... I truly appreciate that you came so quickly after my call and that you stayed with me keeping me sane. Even going out off your comfortzone by meeting me dressed in your casual, boy clothes," he gave Key a proud, reassuring smile.

Wow, Kibum had prayed for his mom's wellbeing. That just... it raised the level of fondness that he was experiencing for the boy drastically. It was so unbelievable sweet of him... How could anyone have such a good heart.

"She's doing better... Though she's still weak and will have to stay a couple of more days at the hospital. Thank you so much for worrying like this... You don't even know her, but you still took your time to think about her wellbeing," his hands itched to reach out and to take hold of Key's, but he refrained from doing so.

"I would really like you and my mom to meet... I'm sure that she would love you," he smiled, imagining Key and his mom talking with each other - he was sure they would have a lot in common, especially their liking for everything fashion.

Key guessed that Jonghyun did have a point...the younger would have never trusted anyone other than Jonghyun to see him as a boy, as his true self. So he supposed that maybe Jonghyun was right, but...Key didn't want to give himself too much credit. There was always room for improvement.

Key shook his head gently, smiling in relief toward Jonghyun's information. His mom was doing okay...that was great. Key really did worry about her frequently. His smile broadened at Jonghyun's next words, a flattered blush raising to the peaks of his cheekbones.

"Yeah? You think we'd get along?" he chuckled, smoothing down the ruffles of his skirt, smiling down at his lap almost sadly. He knew that doing something like meeting Jonghyun's mother would be hard. He'd have to lie to introduce himself, use his alias to fit in. He would never be able to say, 'hi, I'm Kim Kibum and I like to dress as a girl'. He'd be judged too badly for something like that.

He sighed wistfully as they pulled up at Key's place. Key lingered for a moment, pondering a couple of things before offering Jonghyun a tired smile. He wished he could pull Jonghyun into a hug, but...once again, he resisted. Reluctantly.

"Thank you again for today. I'm going to really enjoy this little guy as my new roommate," he chuckled, holding up his stuffed pup. He stared down at it thoughtfully before giving it a big hug, nuzzling against its artificial fur, all the while smiling innocently at Jonghyun. "There. I gave your brother a hug since we're not allowed to touch. I hope that'll suffice for the time being," he chuckled, pushing open his door.

He stepped out, careful to make sure his butt was covered as the wind picked up, his hand staying glued to the back of his skirt. He didn't want to flash Jonghyun!

"I'll see you soon, I hope," mumbled Key a little hopefully, smiling at his friend. "Text me whenever you want to," he nodded before closing the door, heading up the path to his doorstep.

Once he arrived, he turned halfway, angling his body enough to see Jonghyun in his car. Key offered a small, shy wave, smiling slightly at the other man. And...since this wasn't actually touching, it shouldn't hurt...so Key puckered his glossy lips and blew a kiss to Jonghyun, giggling softly to himself afterward, feeling stupid, but also so unbelievably giddy.

Jonghyun nodded his head, smiling. He was sure they would get along really well, he could see his mom gushing over how sweet Key was. The only issue was that he couldn't foresee how his mother would react to the fact that Key was in truth a boy dressing as a girl. He would like to think she was a tolerant and open-minded person, but he couldn't know for sure as they had never been in a situation such as this.

"I'm sure of it. She would quickly take you into her heart," he gave Kibum a smile, disappointed that he couldn't reach out and give a reassuring squeeze to Key's hand.

Once they arrived at the boy's house, he could feel his heart clenching painfully in his chest... He didn't want Key to go yet! For a moment he had the silly urge to just cling to Kibum and not let him exit the car.

He turned around to look at Key, chuckling as he saw the boy cuddling the stuffed puppy so cutely... He had to say that he was a bit jealous, but yes, they had agreed on the no-touching-rule... He pouted softly.

"My brother is sure a lucky puppy. I wish we could switch places," he said playfully, though it wasn't far from what he was really thinking. Because he couldn't stop himself from imagining how Key would snuggle together with the little dog plush while laying in bed... Okay, he was definitely very very jealous of this stupid toy right now...

"Of course... I can't wait to see you again. I'll miss you, Key," he smiled softly, feeling his heart ache," Take good care of yourself. I'm sure my brother will keep you safe when I can't be with you," he chuckled.

He sighed heavily as Key closed the car door behind himself and walked away. He gripped tightly onto the steering wheel, wanting to run out and drag Kibum back into the car. As he watched after the boy, he smiled fondly, feeling his heart giving a flip and his cheeks flush in happiness, as Key blew a kiss towards him. Jonghyun made a show of catching the kiss and pressing it against his heart, swooning. He laughed out loud, before driving away from Key's house.

Key was satisfied when Jonghyun caught his kiss and pressed it to his heart. He giggled again before stepping inside, closing the front door behind him.

He decided to get dressed in comfy clothes seeing as no one was home and he hadn't any real plans. As he undressed, he pouted, staring down at his smooth skin. It had taken so long to get all that body hair off, and for nothing! Well, he supposed not nothing...Jonghyun had touched his leg, after all...not only that, he'd slipped his fingers under the hem a bit. That tease!

Key blushed heavily as the memories of the Ferris wheel ride invaded his thoughts. He shouldn't get turned on by such things, but...it was hard not to what with how passionate that instance had seemed. Key had never experienced anything like it.

He shivered at the memory, glancing down a little guiltily when he saw that he was indeed turned on. With a sigh, he scampered off to the bathroom and took a cold shower, ahem.

Once he was finished, he got dressed in a matching pajama set even though it was only late afternoon. His mom came home shortly after and Key immediately dragged her to the couch for a talk session. They chatted about Jonghyun for a good two hours. It probably wasn't too healthy of Key to brag about someone this often, but...how could he help it when Jonghyun was so perfect?!

Key yawned after their conversation was over. His mother began on dinner and suddenly, after talking about Jonghyun so enthusiastically, Key wanted to see him. He huffed, wishing they could hang out, but...it was against the rules, he knew.

But then an idea struck him. It was the next best thing. He drew his phone out and clicked on Jonghyun's cute contact name, composing a message to him. He selected the camera option and snapped a quick picture of him winking, his lips pursed a little as if ready to initiate a kiss. With an embarrassed smile, he wrote under his picture: I hope you made it home safely, my Jjongie~! I am already missing you...so here's a virtual kiss~

Was that pushing it? Key blushed as he punched the send button courageously. God, he couldn't believe he just did that...the whole reason for keeping their distance was to refrain from this stuff, but now Key was just breaking his own rules.
