Key swore that life sometimes just couldn't get worse. School was becoming hectic, and with the thoughts of graduation approaching, he wasn't sure how he'd be able to juggle all of his classes at once. Key was surprised by Jonghyun's sudden outburst of anger. He'd never seen him speak like this before. He'd been very tame when Key told him the truth about his gender...so Key was surprised to see him act up.

But it also touched him deeply, because...he was mad over Key. Angry for his sake and that let Key know that this guy truly cared for him ( ... )

Jonghyun smiled softly at Key, feeling relieved that he wasn't in too much pain right now. He wish he could keep Kibum away from all the suffering that was on this world, but he knew that it wouldn't be possible. But at least he could be here for the other and make him feel better again ( ... )

Key went still as Jonghyun moved closer and held the ice pack up himself. Having nothing to do with his hands, the younger folded them in his lap obediently, letting Jonghyun the gentleman do as he pleased. Key smiled bashfully in thanks ( ... )

Jonghyun understood what Key meant, but on the other hand he really wanted to help somehow. If this was the first time those jerks hit Kibum, who said they wouldn't get even more violent now? He knew that Key was a strong person, but he was afraid that this would be something that the younger wouldn't be able to handle on his own. But maybe he was mistaken... He sighed softly, he would respect Key's wishes and not talk to the guys, but his reaction might be different if they ever tried anything similiar again.

"Yeah... Then I won't talk with them... But damn, if they hurt you another time, I won't be as lenient anymore," he said, nodding his head with a determined look on his face.

He raised the ice pack slightly, inspecting the bruise. It seemed like due to the cooling the swelling didn't get worse. They would need to maybe put on some salve later to help with the healing. But nonetheless, Key would have to walk with the black eye for the next few weeks... He just hoped that it wouldn't hurt anymore later at least.

Key hid a smile when Jonghyun lowered the ice pack, but didn't move away. Jonghyun must have wanted to be close, too...

As Key listened to Jonghyun talk about his girlfriend, though, his smile became weaker and weaker and the light disappeared from his eyes. He ducked his head to stare at his lap, his shoulders a little tense. Kissed. They had kissed...but Key should have seen this coming, he was lucky they hadn't done more..but...what if they had? And Jonghyun was just not mentioning it? He probably just didn't want to hurt Key's feelings...

Key's shoulders relaxed considerably when Jonghyun assured him that the kiss didn't feel right...still, he was in a bit of shock. How could a high school boy like him drive away a straight man from his pretty girlfriend? It must have been some kind of world record...Key had never seen this done before, and now he was living it. He sighed softly, taking a minute to think about everything Jonghyun had said ( ... )

Jonghyun was surprised as Key suddenly tugged on his arm and put it around his shoulder. He chuckled at his cute excuse... Well he would love to keep the boy warm. Pulling Key closer to himself, a bright smile appeared on his face... He guessed the the no-touching-rule has been forgotten. Jonghyun definitely preferred it being gone. He sighed pleasantly, enjoying as Key's thin, graceful finger played with the material of his shirt ( ... )

Jonghyun still couldn't believe that he had confessed all that to the other boy. Had he just honestly told him that he had jerked off in reaction to the picture that Key had sent him this morning? He didn't dare look up from where his gaze was still focused on their joined hands... He just hoped that he hadn't put them into an awkward situation now. He didn't mean to.... Key's eyes widened slightly in horror when Jonghyun reached for his hand. The fear of rejection hit him full throttle when he assumed that Jonghyun was going to pry his hand off and say this was wrong. He was so scared of rejection from Jonghyun, he had been since day one.

His fear melted away, however, when Jonghyun's soft, thick lips began pressing kisses against the back of his hand as if he really was a princess or some sort of royalty. Key smiled shyly, gazing at Jonghyun through eyes that were filled with utmost affection. He'd never been treated so delicately in his life...he really felt special with Jonghyun. Not to mention, the other man always made him forget his worries. Suddenly, Key's black eye felt like no big deal.

As Jonghyun spoke again, Key's eyes widened with each comprehending second. Before he knew it, his hand was being guided by Jonghyun's under the latter's shirt. Key went completely still, choking on a breath.

Jonghyun didn't expect for Key to be quite so bold.... But he definitely wasn't complaining as suddenly both of his hands were pushed underneath his shirt. He was glad that Kibum played along, exploring the skin and muscles of his stomach and chest. It felt really good to have Key's soft, graceful hands touch him in such an intimate way. It wasn't anything big really, but still it made Jong's body fill with lust and a heady feeling that he didn't want to loose yet ( ... )

Key bit into his lip, glancing over his shoulder subtly as Jonghyun spoke to him, the other man's hands sliding over the slopes of his back. He shivered a little as those tough, but still incredibly gentle fingertips mapped out each part of his skin, as if to memorize it. Key's lip curled under his teeth; Jonghyun was so careful with Key, and the younger appreciated it more than words could explain...he couldn't even begin to translate how happy he was with Jonghyun, and how remarkably safe the other man made him feel ( ... )
