1. I keep mine in the shower (soap, face wash, and shampoo) in a container that lets out extra moisture. I live in Japan, and all of the solid soaps of any sort I've gotten all have an expiration date of a year after they were made (which is usually within 2-4 weeks of the date sold, in my experience).

6. You are supposed to get rid of it after two days, I think, but I've heard of people keeping it for weeks.

Oh, that seems like a good amount of time. Thank you! :)

1) I cut them into small pieces and put one in my bathroom in a tin and the rest goes into another tin for storage.
We do have dates on them (I'm in Switzerland) and they are the same as sabishii_kirito already said.

2) I don't know if you're supposed to or not but I do mix it because I have the same thing like you.

I started with Enzymion for the same skin you have. I did however find it like putting butter on my face, it was the worst. If you could get a sample of that (if they do that?) I think it would be the best. I'm using Vanishing Cream now but am not completely happy with it.

Ah, I keep seeing mixed reviews on all the moisturizers I'm interested in. Wait, to be clear, did you mean melted butter or solid butter? haha. I dislike the feeling of thick moisturizers and from the reviews I've seen, I thought VC was thicker than Enzymion? Then again a thin moisturizer that left your skin looking buttered wouldn't be great either..so did you mean it left your skin feeling/looking oily? I guess I should test it out at the retail store to see for myself. Anyway, sorry for babbling and thanks for your little review!

:-p

It felt like I took a stick of butter (the kind you put on your bread in the morning) and smeared it on my face. With that I mean it clogged up my pores and made my skin shiny and felt very wrong.
I was told by an SA that VC is the lightest one they have in regards to oil but I've gotten conflicting information from Lush before so I'd definitely try moisturizers in samples before you buy one. VC isn't the cheapest one.

FWIW, I absolutely love Enzymion and feel that Vanishing Cream is the one that feels like a stick of butter on my face! Haha. I'm very, very oily. OP, your best bet will just be asking for samples of both and trying them out before you spend the money.

And in regards to samples... Yes, it is perfectly fine to just ask for samples! I'm weird about free stuff so I do like to buy one product or at least talk with the SAs for awhile before I ask for a sample, but that's just me. I just feel weird about receiving free stuff (and the girls at my shop are absolutely AMAZING in regards to samples & things like that. FL Mall love forever <3 haha). Lush understands that not every product works for every person and you need to try things out before you spend the money ( ... )

1. I used to just keep my bar of Coalface in the shower.
2. Mixed mine!
3. Don't think so, but not sure.
4. Yup!
5. Don't know
6. You can use it for two days after you've poured it in the spray bottle.

:)

2. You can stir it that's just how the product settles or was mixed initially.

5. I believe returns may be accepted if you have an allergic reaction to it, it's worth a shot to ask.

I recently got Grease Lightning and it's not really doing much for me either. I would definitely ask one of the Lush sales associates for some help with the moisturizer - you can actually try it in store and see how it feels.

I'm mostly concerned about a moisturizer just not working out for me and having wasted the money! Hopefully they'll let me refund/exchange if it breaks me out? I'll ask a SA before buying.

Good idea! I'm really curious about the thickness and textures of the moisturizers so hopefully I can at least try it if they don't give actual samples.
Thanks!

You can return for any reason at all within the expiration date for an exchange (credit you have to use right then basically) and within 30 days with a receipt for your money back.

Thanks! But I'm assuming this doesn't apply to online orders?

2. Yes. Sometimes it's mixed up right and other times it's not mixed at all.
3. No. Only pots are accepted for the free fresh face mask promotion. However, they will recycle your non-pot items.
4. Yes. I've never had a problem getting samples.
5. Yes, but you won't get a cash/credit refund from my experience. Just a store credit.
6. You use the water as much as you want and dispose of it after 2 days.

If Coalface is working for you, then stick with it.

Regarding the moisturizers, get samples and try them all out before you purchase. Also, I have wonky skin and I use a different moisturizer depending on the time of year: Vanishing Cream in the warm weather, Imperialis in the cold weather. You might have the same trial and error that I had to find the right one.

I agree with the weather comment. I was using Enzymion religiously, but then winter came and it didn't moisturize enough so I switched to Celestial.

Ah, that's a shame for #3. I'll still bring them in to recycle though.
That's fine for #5! I'm sure I'll have something to buy with that store credit haha.

Yeah, I don't really feel like switching either. Maybe I'll give the Fresh Farmacy to my mother or a friend so it won't sit in my fridge for months.

I know some people change up their regimen depending on the season, but I haven't completely figured out how my skin works yet.. I know I definitely want a thinner moisturizer during the Summer, though. Thanks for letting me know!
