This is likely a silly question, but did you wash the ocean salt off your hand properly?
I leave my ocean salt on for about ten minutes once a week, and as it starts to dry my face does tingle, but once I've washed it all off it just feels fresh.

I'm pretty sure I did, I rinsed my hand completely and wiped my hands dry with paper towel afterwards. I guess I'm going to have to try it on my face to see if I get the same effect ;D

Do you use it like a mask instead of just rubbing it on and washing it off again?

It's not recommended to use it like I do, since it's harsh... but I do use it a bit like a mask, when I'm in the bath. Til you get used to it and how your skin reacts with it, it's best to just rub & wash though :)

Which is all I'll be doing I think, I'm incredibly impatient when it comes to facial masks *lol*

I'm starting to think it just might be the fact it's a different product (I hope). In fact I'm looking forward to finding out now, because it did make my skin feel incredibly soft.

Thank you :)

Do make sure you rinse thoroughly and pat dry. The alcohol may be irritating you (it is vodka infused, after all, then again, so am I... ha ha).

USE UP THAT SEX IN THE SHOWER! If you enjoy that scent, do try our Ginger perfume, Ginger Lotion, and Ginger soap (if we've any left). These are all Retro items, available on our site.

Mhm ginger. I keep looking at the Lush UK site *lol* now you've given me reason to order stuff :P (we don't have a retro section in Australia, massive fail imo).

Thanks for the info. I forgot it was vodka based so you're probably right!

I didn't realize it was vodka based! Kind of funny, especially since the smell of it always reminds me of margaritas. :)

Ocean salt always turns my face BRIGHT RED after I use it. It fades after about 2 hours, but I would try it first at night just in case. I don't get a tingly feeling though. Maybe if you had a little cut or something it would sting because it is salt?

Wow two hours? I think I might try it tomorrow night instead then. I was a little worried it was the whole salt thing; it just sounds harsh but the lady that served me assured me it was all good.

There's no cuts or damaged skin on my hand, but right now both my hands are feeling a little odd which is interesting, since it was only used on one haha maybe it's the weather; I can only hope.

Thank you ♥

I don't use Ocean Salt on my face-I mix it with Lemony Flutter and rub into my hands and elbows to make them soft and smooth.

I use ocean salt over once a week, but I don't leave it on my face for longer than a it takes me to scrub my whole body and rinse it off. I have super dry skin though.
