This is likely a silly question, but did you wash the ocean salt off your hand properly? I leave my ocean salt on for about ten minutes once a week, and as it starts to dry my face does tingle, but once I've washed it all off it just feels fresh.
I'm pretty sure I did, I rinsed my hand completely and wiped my hands dry with paper towel afterwards. I guess I'm going to have to try it on my face to see if I get the same effect ;D
Do you use it like a mask instead of just rubbing it on and washing it off again?
It's not recommended to use it like I do, since it's harsh... but I do use it a bit like a mask, when I'm in the bath. Til you get used to it and how your skin reacts with it, it's best to just rub & wash though :)
Which is all I'll be doing I think, I'm incredibly impatient when it comes to facial masks *lol*
I'm starting to think it just might be the fact it's a different product (I hope). In fact I'm looking forward to finding out now, because it did make my skin feel incredibly soft.
