Author’s Note: I came up with this random idea to do a LuRe seven dead sins fic. In the course of trying to figure it out, the fic suddenly mutated into what you see now. I have no idea what possessed me (hah!) to write this, but the idea won't let me go. PLEASE, PLEASE HEED THE WARNINGS - if you think something in this fic might offend you in some way, please don't read it. Summary is from “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars.

Thanks to alissablue for being an awesome beta. Also thanks to erikssiren for helping me out with the Catholicism related items.

THIS FIC IS DONE, OMG. Okay, so aside from some editing on the last two chapters, this fic is finished. I'm going to try and keep with the regular updates on Wednesdays and Saturdays. :D Also, I downgraded the warnings cause the final chapters didn't go quite as dark as I thought they would. :D

Cause looking for heaven, found the devil in me. Looking for heaven; found the devil in me. Well, what the hell, I'm gonna let it happen to me. - Shake It Out, Florence and the Machine.

Luciano paced back and forth in the barn, wringing his hands. Tim was due at any moment. He was terrified Tim wouldn’t show up, and utterly afraid of what would happen if he did. He almost hadn’t come himself.

His conversation the night before with Holden had led to Luciano revealing more than he ever thought he would. Holden hadn’t judged him - he’d sat and listened as Luciano poured his heart out. Luciano had never expected such a reaction from someone. He’d expected to be judged and hated.

Holden had been a little surprised by the fact that Tim was a priest, but then Luciano had explained Tim’s crisis of faith and how he was thinking of leaving the priesthood. Holden had seemed to understand that.

“Bottom line, Luciano,” Holden said. “Does he make you happy?”

“Yes,” Luciano whispered. “Completely.”

“Then that’s all that matters,” Holden told him. “Everything else is between you and God.”

“Thank you,” Luciano replied.

They’d gone inside to find his mother crying, but an immediate smile was put on her face when she’d seen them laughing together.

The door to the barn creaked open and Luciano’s head jerked up as Tim came inside.

Reid cursed himself the entire walk over to the barn. He knew he shouldn’t go. He should walk away from Luke, from the temptation he posed. Reid was putting his life in danger by leaving the church unescorted, putting Luke’s life in danger - on top of destroying an innocent man and then leaving him suddenly, which would happen when the trial began.

Still, he went anyway.

Luke was like a Siren - he called to Reid in a way that no one ever had before and Reid was powerless to resist. He checked to make sure the area around the barn was deserted before heading for the door and stepping inside.

Luke looked relieved to see him.

“Hi,” he breathed out. “I worried you wouldn’t come.”

“I almost didn’t,” Reid decided that he was lying enough - he would tell as much truth as he could. Luke deserved that much. Luke flinched at his words. “Not because I didn’t want to - I just, I hate making you choose between me and what you believe in.”

“I thought we weren’t going to worry about God,” Luke replied. “Remember?” Reid inclined his head in reply.

“I remember,” he murmured.

“Shall we then?” Luke gestured to the ladder, waiting for Reid to go up. Against his better judgment, Reid ascended the ladder, finding that Luke had already been up there and made them a nest of blankets among the hay. There were throw pillows as well as a couple of bottles of water and a package of baby wipes. Reid raised his eyebrows as he took it all in.

Luke had been a very busy boy.

He himself was not unprepared - a condom and a bottle of lube were tucked in the pocket of his jacket, though whether they’d get that far, Reid had no idea. Luke came to stand next to him and Reid knew he’d have to make the first move again. There was no way that Luke would be comfortable enough to do that yet. It was something that Luke had even bothered to set things up for them.

Reid slipped his arm around Luke’s waist and pulled him close before kissing him gently. “You still sure about this?” he asked, leaning back slightly.

“I am if you are,” Luke stared into his eyes. “All I could think about yesterday was your hands on me.” Reid couldn’t resist then, claiming Luke’s lips again as they sank down together onto the blanket. Reid made short work of Luke’s jacket, tossing into the hay next to them. Luke pushed his off as well, and then froze for a moment, staring at Reid’s throat.

Staring at his collar.

“It’s just a simple band that I wear under the collar of my shirt, Luke,” Reid whispered, nibbling on the lobe of his ear. Luke was still holding himself stiffly. Reid sat back on his heels. He held Luke’s gaze, reaching up and popping his collar, pulling the white band out and setting it on top of his coat. “I’m just me now.”

Luke propped himself up on his elbows, now staring at Reid’s exposed throat. He’d left the top button undone. Sensing he had Luke’s undivided attention, he slowly moved to the next button, popping it through the hole. Luke licked his lips, his eyes on Reid’s fingers as they slowly unfastened the buttons one at a time. By the time he’d untucked his shirt from his pants, the last button coming undone in his fingers, Luke’s eyes had grown dark with lust and his breath was coming in little pants.

Reid slipped the shirt off, letting it drop onto his jacket. He reached out slowly and took Luke’s hand in his before pressing it lightly to his chest. Luke was shaking now. “Put your hands on me, Luke,” Reid urged, his voice low and deep. “Touch me.”

Luke made a noise in his throat and then desperate lips were devouring Reid’s. Tentative hands touched him, stroking over his skin - his chest, his abdomen, his shoulders, even the crook of his elbow; no inch was left unexplored by Luke. Luke paid special attention to his nipples for a moment, seemingly amazed when he discovered that touching them would make Reid moan and thrust against him.

Luke’s mouth left his and Reid hissed under his breath as those kiss swollen lips found his nipple and then sucked it into a little bud.

Luke was a very, very fast learner. “Good?” Luke asked, his eyes meeting Reid’s. Once again, Reid took Luke’s hand, this time pressing it against cock. Luke could feel Reid’s hardness through his pants, judging by the look of shock on his face.

“You’re a natural,” Reid said, his voice gravelly. Luke’s hand started exploring; one of his fingers traced the outline of Reid’s erection through his pants, and Reid felt his eyes rolling up into the back of his head at the sensation. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d waited so long to come.

The situation was already incredibly fucked up - Reid wasn’t about to ruin it any more than it already was for Luke.

Reid moved his hands to Luke’s waist, creeping around the edge of Luke’s shirt as Luke’s hand grew bold and cupped his cock, rubbing him through his pants. “Let me touch you,” he breathed out, his hips moving in time with Luke’s talented fingers. Luke hesitated for a second but then nodded. Reid raised the shirt slowly up over his head, tossing it down onto the blanket.
Reid drank in the sight of him - Luke was thin but firm, with more chest hair than Reid had. He moved so he was sitting with his legs stretched out in front of him and then pulled Luke onto his lap. He adjusted Luke until he had Luke right where he wanted him - their hard cocks nestled against each other, bare chests touching.

Lips met lips and Luke rocked into him, making them both moan. Reid held him tightly, fingertips digging into Luke’s hips as he they moved together. Reid couldn’t resist after a moment, sliding his hand in between them, cupping Luke’s erection. Luke arched, his head falling back as he cried out. He trembled, his fingers scratched into Reid’s shoulders.

“Tim, Tim, Tim,” he chanted. The words were like a cold shower as they washed over Reid.

“Call me Reid,” Reid told him. Luke stared at him, breathless and startled. “Apparently priests just aren’t named Reid.”

“Reid,” Luke whispered, his voice speaking the word reverently, as if he was praying. For all Reid knew, maybe he was. The sound of his name - his real name - rolling off Luke’s tongue spurred him on and he rubbed Luke’s cock harder all the while his name spilled from Luke’s lips. Luke buried his face in Reid’s neck, crying out wordlessly as his orgasm washed over him. Reid held him tightly as Luke gasped in his ear, his whole body shaking.

Reid ignored his own throbbing erection begging for release in favor of holding Luke. That had been the most intense sex he’d ever experienced.

“Wow,” Luke’s voice was muffled by Reid’s shoulder. Luke squirmed on his lap and Reid inhaled sharply. “Wait, you didn’t…” Luke trailed off, lifted his head.

“It’s okay.” Reid smiled at him.

“No, it’s not,” Luke said. His hands were immediately at Reid’s waistband, unfastening his pants. Reid grabbed them, stopping Luke.

“You don’t have to,” Reid replied, searching Luke’s gaze.

“I want to,” Luke murmured. “I want to make you feel as good as you made me feel.” With that, Luke reached in under the waistband of his boxers, and wrapped his fingers around his aching shaft. Reid groaned as Luke stroked, unsure at first, then firmer. “Come on, Reid,” Luke said quietly. “I got you.”

Reid spilled over Luke’s fist, breathing heavily. He captured Luke’s mouth in a kiss. “Thank you.”

They sat that way for a while, exchanging small kisses before the need to clean up set in.

“I should tell you,” Reid finally said, as they headed for the barn door, looking as nothing had happened between them. “I think I’m only going to be here for two more weeks.”

Luke’s eyes went unnaturally bright for a moment, and his face tightened.

“So you’re sticking with the priesthood then?” Luke asked.

“I - I really don’t know what I’m doing anymore,” Reid admitted. “I didn’t expect you.”

“I didn’t expect you either,” Luke sniffled for a second and then drew in a deep breath. “Well,” he continued, “I guess we’ll have to make the most of it.” He kissed Reid and then opened the door. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow,” Reid agreed, watching as he walked away.
