Funny, I never knew they said shiny in Firefly (as I haven't seen it, but hey)... I got "Shiny!" from this webcomic Sluggy I used to read... I really identified with this character Kiki, a ferret who was easily hyped on sugar, loved pressing buttons ("Ooh, what does this do?!" *boom!*), and I think said shiny. Heheh. I wonder if it's still running...

Ooh! :DDD It is! I wikipedia'd it. It says the artist is reputed to be the first person to make a living by creating a webcomic. Awesome. :D

deviantArt has a weird new system that sort of fits the image to your screen, I think. But clicking on the image should bring it up to its actual size. Also try clicking the "download image" button on the bottom right or just click here :)

They say "Shiny!" a lot on the show, starting from the first episode! And I haven't heard of that webcomic but that's pretty cool about the artist.

Yep, pretty much! :D "Jaynestown" is one of the funniest things I've ever watched, but the whole show is great!
