I think I'll wait until tomorrow to pick up my medication. Today's high won't get above freezing. Also, the roads (and my car) are still snow-covered.

I scheduled an appointment for next Wednesday with a new therapist.

I hope this week's snow melts enough so I can be away from home for a bit. I'm depressed at the moment because I'm both lonely and wishing I had a marketable talent. I'd love to get help pursuing my dream of owning a radio/TV station, but I don't know who to turn to for help ( Read more... )

I heard the community maintenance crew shoveling the walkways this morning. When I looked out the window an hour ago, my walkway had another 2-3 inches of fresh snow with snow continuing to fall. A few OA members said they couldn't make it to the meeting, so I decided to stay home as well. I'm making some chicken chili for dinner.

I'm looking forward (not really) to heavy snow over the next two days. About two inches of snow fell in my neighborhood Sunday afternoon. Another 2-4 inches of snow is expected Monday. This might affect whether I can attend my OA meeting Monday night. Most or all of the snow should be cleared by Saturday night for FoxTrot.

I need to buy more plates. I've been relying mostly on paper plates for my home-cooked meals. When the time comes to wash everything, I often have only half a load's worth of dishes and glasses, and way too much tableware.
