oh boy! It's cold enough in the house this morning that when I exhale I make neat little clouds of white steam.

So, I went with the 8th graders (yep, ALL of them) on Transition Camp Thursday and Friday. Which is actually a lot of fun and a great experience for them. (It's all about getting your head out of your own little world and joining the one everyone else lives in as well as how to work together as a class and be supportive of each other.) So, my hubby and I just got back from our first vacation in something like 3 or 4 years. (I think 4 is more accurate.) We didn't go far, and we didn't go for long, but we WENT! We went up to Lake George for a couple of days (just got back) and it was WONDERFUL! Mostly because we had no agenda and could do what we wanted, when we wanted. ( Read more... )

Went Garage sale-ing with Heather this morning! We had a good time. Found some great stuff - my favorite - trumpet in great condition, good brand, mouthpiece and case included - $30!
