Happy birthday to my BFF, Tina!!! ♥ ♥ Hope you have a good one!
Pan's Labyrinth comes out on DVD tomorrow and I can't wait to rent it. I'm still kicking myself for not seeing it in the theater, but considering how big our new TV is, I'm sure the experience will be more or less the same. :) Speaking of movies, I've been on a real foreign film kick

The Edukators; although, I ended up liking the first half more than the second, but it still turned out to be a very good film.
I've been meaning to see
Goodbye Lenin! for ages, so I'll definitely add that to the list, thanks. :)
A Very Long Engagement, yes! I knew there was another Jean-Pierre Jeunet film I wanted to see! I actually looked for
City of Lost Children last time I was at the video store (since I've heard nothing but good things about it), but they didn't have it. :( Or maybe they did, who knows? The foreign film section at that place is in complete disarray. Maybe it will be there tomorrow.
Oh yes, you should definitely watch
Love Me If You Dare; it's a very fun, twisted, and beautiful movie.

Y Tu Mama Tambien a while back, but never finished it because the copy I rented was screwed up. I'll have to try it again soon. I've been meaning to see
The Motorcycle Diaries for a while now, so I'll definitely get around to that sooner or later. Adding the other two suggesting to my "list," thank you! :D
P.S. *Squee!* Is that Gael García Bernal in your icon? I ♥ him.

Oh, and is The Edukators that German movie in which those two guys break into homes and rearrange everything? Because I think I vaguely remember that one. I've watched a lot of foreign films when I was in my high school's Indy Film club. :)
One I'd recommend if you're up to the violence and general rawness is City of God. It's very mature and violent but it's amazing.

Amélie is pretty much my favorite movie ever; it fills me with so much joy every time I watch it.
That's the one! Actually, my only regret about that film was that they didn't spend more time showing them rearranging the houses. That was some hilarious stuff. XD
I have a pretty thick skin when it comes to violence in movies, so I'll definitely try this one out, thanks! :D
