Much has been happening and I hardly have time to recap it all. One of the best things though is today I got my ( Hickman line out! (safe photo and blurb behind the cut) )

Day 2 we did some more shooting in Christchurch, and went back up the Port Hills for some clearer shots. Then we left Christchurch and headed on our way to Greymouth on the west coast. On Friday I couldn't sit still so I went on a cleaning spree on our new place. I weeded, swept, picked up trash, vacuumed and of course took some pictures so you can see where we live.

One of the best things about IFIX is all the people we get to meet. Yesterday we spent the afternoon/evening in Plimmerton at a customers "retreat." He lives in an amazing house set on 5 acres of bush with little tracks winding through gardens, olive trees and grape vines. He has quails that run into his office and Tui's that drink out of cups. As part of my self inflicted (and doctor approved) rehabilitation regime I have been going on walks every day with Brian. It's actually a great time to be doing so because the weather has been good for the most part (could always be less windy...) and it gives us a chance to explore our new neighborhood. On Sunday Brian and I went out to sea with our friend Oliver and 12 other people to go fishing for Kingfish (apparently according to Wikipedia aka yellowtail amberjack.)
