Oh Lord, box of snakes barely touches it, does it? Excellent stuff :)

Never had much time for Japan myself, although I seem to recall their cover of "Second that Emotion" was pleasing enough at the time.

Who next, retro-girl?

A box of snakes that have been starved and poked for a few hours in a box then...lol

I adores Japan so much especially the art of parties I have been singing it at work all night to get me through...

The buzz when Bush's debut album, 'The Kick Inside' came out, was amazing. No-one had heard anything like her. I was maybe 14 at the time, got a crappy home-taped cassette of it and listened to it again and again and again. She was a true innovator, and when you consider that some of her strongest stuff was written when she herself was a young teenager, it was extraordinary. I can remember hearing her interviewed on the radio after TKI launch, and couldn't believe that such an outlandish performer could have such an ordinary speaking voice, lol! There are some sound new groups coming up these days, but I don't think KB has ever been matched in terms of genuine originality.
