You know, in a self-centred sort of way, the first grandparent dying is like the beginning of me getting old too >_< but he did make it to late 80s, or 90 or something, so can't really complain on the longevity department at least [hopefully].
I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you and your fam are okay.
And ugh, exercising. I feel like my old discipline is so out the window. But you're right, just gotta take it one step at a time and stick to it. Gotta remind myself to be consistent.
Also, my friend just finished all the seasons of ER and I'm very tempted. I am tired of watching shows that eventually end!! The perk of ER is that there are so many seasons!!
Yeah, it's a mental battle, for sure. There's muscle memory, but I find the biggest challenge is trying to train the brain into going down the healthy path after having taken a break. The body only hurts for a few days, but the brain constantly wants to eat brownies for much longer >:/
I'm only on season 3 so far. A friend tells me it starts to drag eventually (my guess is after season 10 or so), but yeah, that still leaves a lot of episodes to watch. Like 20+ per season xD
Try not too be too hard on yourself with housework and getting stuff done - you have heaps on your plate, sometimes it's nice to just stop and have that cup of tea.
Thank you for your kind words. It's hard not to get overwhelmed by the endless chores, but hopefully it'll ease a bit as the kids get a bit older and I dont have to do 100% of everything for them!
