Mother rang earlier today to tell me my grandfather passed away yesterday. I now only have three grandparents left :(

I'm feeling really *flat out*. It's not that my life is full on or anything, compared to most, but I'm still overwhelmed a bit by how little time it seems I have in the day. Tommy went over to the neighbours' house yesterday to play with his crew of Wainui-half-Asian-kids, and Sean got asked to join for a few beers when he went to collect him. I knew I was expected to join as well, but I just didn't, asking Sean to excuse my absence somehow. In hind sight, it might have seem odd, or rude, even, that I didn't pop over to say hello. But I knew if I'd gone, I would have had to accept a drink, then stay a while, then it'd be bedtime, then I would continue to fall further behind on everything. Even trying to make an entry on here feels irresponsible because I should be doing the dishes, and putting laundry away, and vaccuming the house, and so on. And sean is away again next week to go to some meetings in Auckland, so am going to fall behind again! I have worked out four times in the past week, and perhaps that is a plus emotionally for me, but it also does chew up in my time (plus daylight savings recently making everything seem to run behind schedule for a while). Gah. I just want to get on top of things, but I also just want to have a cup of hot tea, play minesweeper, and not worry about anything at all. Needless to say maximum levels of annoyance with housework have been reached! The good news is the summer garden is pretty much complete, with the exception of my kumara (sweet potato) slips, which are ready to be collected from the garden centre. So at least I don't have to do anything now but water and feed every couple of weeks. Barring a terrible windy storm, everything should be good even while we are away next month.
Oh, yeah, so the working out thing is going well, I think, other than it (plus breastfeeding) makes me so hungry, so it's hard to have self control on those days. Trying very hard to snack healthy, at least. I don't feel any different, but I wasn't about to puke when I worked out yday, and I fit some old shorts today (I was worried I'd have to buy a bigger size now that it's getting warmer, but thank goodness I can fit these for now). They aren't my smallest size, which are like xs I guess, but they'll do. I know i will feel all sorts of chubby when I go back to Peru and Susi is tiny skinny along with everyone else, but I'll just have to live with it, enjoy the food, and work on it some more when I get back. At least am better than I was two weeks ago. It's only a few pounds, right?!!! >:/ Sigh. I have all these secret fantasies of getting back to super fit, going racing, or competing, or crossfitting. I just gotta stick with it. Even if I stuff my face with cake some days, I just gotta keep working out, and working on building up my discipline again.

I watched Marcella on Netflix. I put it off for ages, and was noy disappointed! Eagerly awaiting for the next season. I also want to watch Deep State (or is it "Estate"?), but it's only on the TVNZ app, which we don't have on the big tv, and sean says i have to wait for him, so cannot watch it on my own >:/ I've also been indulging in ER. Omigosh, Suan and Mark, will they or will they not?!!! I kinda hope not because it's going to ruin what they have when they do. But they are so sweet and so perfect for each other. Omg they should have babies together x333 *squeal*
Oh, and thanks Paul for suggesting playing d2 on single player. It really is perfect for so I don't have to fluff around with maps and stuff. So easy and comfy and nice for a quick bashing session before bed!! Not helping my sleeping habits but hey, it's fun!
