Gundam Wing Comic

For the past few days I have been working diligently on a "secret project". To be more specific, I've been drawing a Gundam Wing comic of scribbly proportions. It's gratuitous fantasy AU, which happens to be my novel-reading-genre of choice. I've had some other story ideas bouncing around for a while, but this one came as a spur-of-the-moment after

That looks awesome so far. <3 I cannot wait to see more. I love the dangerous look he is wearing on the first page. It's him. And then going to rest under a tree with a burnt corpse, that boy sure has very, very high squick tolerance. XD

I blame Episode Zero for the high squick tolerance. The casual enthusiasm with which seven year old Duo says "I've never seen a miracle, but I've seen LOTS of dead people! :D" always intrigued me... He probably looted the corpses as a kid too...

And personally, I love dangerous looking Duo. :D I'm glad you thought it was in-character.

Those are some gorgeous looking action shots of Duo. His intensity is a big part of what fascinates me with this comic. That, and that ironic smile in the last panel. I do hope you'll continue!

The action shots were half the reason that got me drawing this. So hearing that you like them gives me hope that I'm doing at least something right. haha And what would Duo Maxwell be without irony? :D Thank you for your comment! Hopefully the rest of the pages will work out too.

Considering I cross-posted this to the 1x2x1 community, I'd say the chances are strong. haha Though I do fail ever so badly at writing romance, so most likely it'll be very... battle-oriented 1x2x1. ^^;
