Gundam Wing Comic
For the past few days I have been working diligently on a "secret project". To be more specific, I've been drawing a Gundam Wing comic of scribbly proportions. It's gratuitous fantasy AU, which happens to be my novel-reading-genre of choice. I've had some other story ideas bouncing around for a while, but this one came as a spur-of-the-moment after iTunes spewed out that one Gackt song (how embarrassing!) that always makes me think of epic battles of some sort. So you get this. And there's more to it, really. I've got it all roughly planned out, where Heero comes in, what Quatre does, what happened to Trowa... Heck, even Relena's in there somewhere. (Poor Wufei still hasn't gotten a role though.)
The trick will now be to see if I have the drive to CONTINUE it. At this point, I don't plan to ink it. I'll worry about making it pretty if I even manage to draw the rest of the story. If not, well, this was a good exercise in comic drawing, not to mention a lot of fun drawing it unscripted, from "the seat of my pants" so to speak.
I actually have another page or two drawn beyond this, but considering that's when Heero shows up and that nothing gets resolved within those two pages, it would be a rather annoying place to stop. Also, those two pages are hideous and need re-working, but we won't go into that.
