snowed last night (yes - snowed) so I have a 2 hour delay for work today. Had a good weekend - Friday hubby and I took the granddaughter to see "Peabody and Sherman" and we all loved it. you know, I never really liked winter, maybe when I was a kid, but this winter is exceptional and I really can't wait until it's over. Had an interesting day. Vice principle at the school wanders into the kitchen and tells us we're gonna have a fire drill. She notices a fire alarm (you know, in case of fire pull here) and says has anyone ever pulled the alarm here? OK so there were snow flurries when I left work, rain on the way back from the grocery store and hail as I climbed the hill to my house. I am sooo not ready for this

Well, after another week from hell at work, I had a great weekend. Saturday, daughter was taking pics of a id for his birthday at the park so the Grand daughter and I tagged along and went to play at the playground. OK, so school started on Sept 9th this year - about 2 weeks later than usual. In the caf, we have a crew of 9. Two people quit over the summer, so 2 new people were hired. The one girl is great, the other had problems, missed the cleaning week totally and came in 2 days (she was late one of them) the 3rd day she had a flat tire, we all figured ( Read more... )
