It is Saturday 13th October and we had breakfast on the patio.

I love it.

I've been feeling crappy for a week now (just the usual stuff like migraines and generally feeling low/depressed). And it's not getting better. As of today I have a sore throat and a light fever. Oh, and I slipped and fell this morning when walking Lucy, so I can now add a scraped and swollen knee to my list of little ailments ( Read more... )

So, it's the Husband's birthday, and he indeed was happy about the building permit I presented to him a couple of minutes after midnight. He called the roofer's company where we had ordered (and then stored) the tiles that will go on the garage roof and they delivered them an hour later ( Read more... )

So - the new wardrobe does not fit behind the bedroom door. We can make it fit, somehow, but the guys who came to put it together have left without finishing. *sigh* [ETA: Apparently the fact that the wardrobe did not fit confused those delivery guys enough to leave without asking me to pay the 2.800 € they should have collected.
