Mural Mayhem: Dark Dawn.

Nov 15, 2011 03:12

I probably overthought this whole thing, but hey, what else is RP for but overthinking things? :Db And it was an excuse for breaking out my poor neglected Prismacolors.

This'll be posted ICly in a bit, but I'm putting it up here as well in case muns want to say something about it but have characters that wouldn't really comment.

Unless someone really has some deep-seated moral objections, this'll be what the mural will look like, more-or-less. The red circles will be the spaces where anyone can come in and paint favorite things from their world, and if they want they can also sign their work or otherwise add a short description (hello Sharpie?), idk w/e. Many of the red circles will be painted in beforehand, but there's always the option to paint more on the spot (as long as there's a way to speed-dry the paint or something). And, uh, they don't have to be red -- they can be orange, yellow, or green too.

✏ LOCATION: Final location of the mural will be the space between the Welcome Center and Azzip Pizzeria, facing towards the path. Just assume the mural will scale to there or whatever. |D

✏ DATE: Hokay, I think this is how it's all gonna go down, though I'm open to other suggestions based on stuff I either forgot about or didn't know about.

I'm thinking about doing this as a single logpost encompassing three days, from Friday 11/25 to Sunday 11/27. All of the days will be workdays, but since it's a pretty simple design I'm thinking that the artists could pull off the vast majority of the work on Friday and Saturday as long as they keep at it (and as long as nothing catastrophic happens Grune stop painting flowers all over the feathers). Sunday will be the day the mural is open to anyone to add their own contributions via the bubbly colorful circles. The going-ons of each day will be explained in a little more detail in the actual log post, of course, but this is just to give you an idea.

Suggestions? Comments? Flames? Tea?
