Asking Allen whether or not he was going for food was like asking if water was wet. Without a moment's delay, the white-haired boy was out the door, a look of pure joy on his face. A rather loud rumble came from his stomach, and he gave a sheepish laugh.

Allen frowned, however, as he noticed Lavi's hand, and knew what the other boy was thinking. He himself hadn't yet tried to activate his Innocence, fearing it might not work, preferring, for the moment, to delude himself into believing that it would.

"We'll... fine it, Lavi." He himself did not believe the words, but they had to be said, he knew. "Somehow. We will."

He looked down for one moment, before gasping softly, an embarrassed smile on his face. "By the way, Lavi, I told Maria and Nia -- er, two people I met here -- that they could come with us, since they were looking for food too. Is that okay?"

Nia was a little hesitant on leaving Simon by himself again. She was worried about him and his loss of his Aniki. Food would probably make him feel better and rejuvenated, but what would he do while she wasn't around? She wouldn't leave him alone for long, however. She needed to find food quickly, for both Simon and Lloyd before they starve themselves, which did not sound very pleasant at all. It was very nice of Allen to invite her to find food with him and his friends.

Nia didn't tell Simon that she would be leaving because he did not want him to worry. She quietly stepped outside, stopping only a few feet away from the door only to look at the landscape. She didn't understand why everyone wanted to go home. How can anyone not like something so beautiful?

She took a deep breath and began walking away from the house. Allen couldn't have been far.

Lavi smiled down at Allen. "Heh, don't worry 'bout it... don't figure those freaks would let me have somethin' like that in here anyway, yeah?" Even if it wasn't broken...

Pushing the door open, he gestured outside. "So, are your friends meetin' us here, or are we pickin' 'em up on the way?" He grinned at the other boy. "Are they cute?"
