[Pao-lin had blacked out in the middle of passing out extra food cans to people in the tunnels.

She woke up on her back on the roof of CH7, staring up at a stormy-looking sky, gray and dark.

...she's alive.

Curiously, she sits up, and winces as her body grumbles in protest. Her muscles are sore, which makes sense considering all the running around she did the past few days, and her wings are not exactly happy with her either, probably because she's been lying on her back on the hard roof for who knows how long.

She's alive. And judging from the people she sees walking around below from her perch on high, everyone else is, too.

Overhead, lightning flashes as Pao-lin grins and closes her eyes in relief.

Potential death penalty? She doesn't seem to have one, as far as she can tell, but she'll deal with that later. For now, this escape with imminent destruction needs to be celebrated.

And so, around noon and leading into the afternoon, the citizens of Luceti will find a girl dressed like this giving out all sorts of candy in the

[Bahaha! That was perfect! And now that that's over, she'll be swoooping down from above, clad in her Shadow Bolt costume. Spooky.]

Oh, it's just you, Rainbow Dash! Getting into the spirit of the season?

[She grins and hovers a little above the ground.]

There's no way I'd miss out on Nightmare Night! It's the perfect time to pull of some awesome pranks.

Nightmare Night, huh? [That's an interesting name for Halloween. Certainly more descriptive.] Well, we just had a pretty big nightmare last night, so it'll be hard to top that! [Her voice might be a little too cheerful saying that.]

Yeah, tell me about it. I totally called it being a prank, too. No way those Malnosso jerks would off everybody when they're supposed to be giving us missions tomorrow.

[Except she was actually a little scared. Not that it's showing with her confident tone and the way she casually flicks a hoof.]

That's definitely true! [Not that Pao-lin herself remembered it until Dhaos and a few other people mentioned that little detail.] But I think it was better to be safe than sorry, right?

Yep, can't argue that. I mean, me and Kazooie tried to knock that thing back into the sky, just in case it was a real threat.

[It obviously didn't work, but hey! At least she tried.]

Totally. It's too bad we couldn't actually beat it back, but it was worth a shot.

All kinds. Chocolate, vanilla lemon drops, those red hot spicy candies...

[She rummages around in her bag, and pulls out a plastic-wrapped red candy.]
