handing out candy in the plaza as her Hero persona! lightningcuteOctober 31 2011, 19:14:05 UTC
[Pao-lin had blacked out in the middle of passing out extra food cans to people in the tunnels.
She woke up on her back on the roof of CH7, staring up at a stormy-looking sky, gray and dark.
...she's alive.
Curiously, she sits up, and winces as her body grumbles in protest. Her muscles are sore, which makes sense considering all the running around she did the past few days, and her wings are not exactly happy with her either, probably because she's been lying on her back on the hard roof for who knows how long.
She's alive. And judging from the people she sees walking around below from her perch on high, everyone else is, too.
Overhead, lightning flashes as Pao-lin grins and closes her eyes in relief.
Potential death penalty? She doesn't seem to have one, as far as she can tell, but she'll deal with that later. For now, this escape with imminent destruction needs to be celebrated.
And so, around noon and leading into the afternoon, the citizens of Luceti will find a girl dressed like this giving out all sorts of candy in the

[Again, no need! Pao-lin's glad to see him, especially now that he doesn't look like the crazed mad scientist of her world. She'll grab two of the larger candy bars in her stash and hand them to Giles before looking him over with a worried frown.]
["Being drugged" doesn't sound like something to not worry about. Still, she won't pry, for now. She sits next to him, resting the bag of treats in her lap.]
It was a pretty crazy week for everyone, I think. [She suspects she got off pretty lightly. That didn't mean it hadn't been stressful for her.]
I feel I should point out that not all experiments are this, um, traumatic.
Being forced to actually leave the village on fear of celestial death is a new one on me, though. I have to wonder what the Malnosso actually did with that moon.
[Hopefully she won't mind the spooky, dark cloud floating overhead. It's a wee bit suspicious, huh? So close, and yet just far enough to be in the air.]
[............well, she supposes that there are weirder inhabitants of Luceti than a cloud. So here's a very-much-unsure Pao-lin, holding out a candy bar to the cloud.]
[Pao-lin jumps a little, dropping the candy bar onto the ground. Frowning, she picks it up, and then -- after giving the cloud one more suspicious glance -- begins to walk away.]

Hi, Mr. Giles! Want some candy?

That would be wonderful, Pao-lin, thank you!
[...he'll even try to stand up and go get it.]
