"Vash-lad; why is it that every time I see you you're in this state?"

And Vash breaks off into a rather loud and happy laugh before raising his glass. "To many happy years you two will have together!"

Forever. Wow. That seemed like a very long time all of a sudden. Jack drained his glass.

Which is why she's going over there and knocking on the door.

Seeing Sheena, however, is a relief. The woman who was going to stand up for her as her witness. She greets her at the apartment door, showing her inside.

"You look about like how I remember feeling." On-edge and anxious and maybe a little bit sick. "Not gonna throw up or anything, right?"
If Raine has been having the same sorts of dreams everyone else has, she probably hasn't slept well either.

There was the wedding dress though, still wrapped and spread out on the bed. "I'm glad that you're here."

Yes, even on his wedding day, Jack can't keep his eyes off that dragon. The heist had gone relatively smoothly the other night, and he was proud of his son's participation---even if it might take another few moments more for that to register.

He still feels that this is too sudden. Of course he's happy for his sister, and he trusts Jack to take proper care of her (and their two sons as well), but...he's never been particularly good at letting go of anything. Especially not when it comes to his precious family. He just wishes he had more time to adjust to the idea, let it sink in. There probably isn't enough time in the world to accommodate how long it would take him to be entirely okay with the idea of his sister leaving, though.

Especially because he thought of today as a last day of sorts to truly be with said sister, before she became a part of another family too. Maybe he was being a little over-dramatic.
Mithos returned his own smile, appreciative of the stream of reassurances Jack offered. He was okay with this, really, he just needed to keep convincing himself to stop worrying so much. "I would hope that you could ensure 'certain doom' doesn't even become an issue," he quipped lightly.

He looks for his family-- and of course, he looks for the bride-to-be. It brings a strange assortment of memories, being here: not all of them pleasant. But it's one social gathering he wouldn't shirk.
