[Vash will show up and bring some extra flowers and a gift for the newlyweds. He'll behave himself during the ceremony... but after...

He might be just a little bit drunk.]

There is one at every wedding, really; but Jack will go over and greet his friend with a slap on the back.

"Vash-lad; why is it that every time I see you you're in this state?"

SWITCHES TENSE LIKE A BOSS!

"Because, brother! You have a lot of reason to celebrate right now!"

And Vash breaks off into a rather loud and happy laugh before raising his glass. "To many happy years you two will have together!"

"Aye---many---many happy years!"

Forever. Wow. That seemed like a very long time all of a sudden. Jack drained his glass.

Even in his drunken state, Vash can't help but have a wide grin break across his face as he watches that glass suddenly empty.

"Don't worry! It wil-will be great! Just between you and me, I was getting sick of bachelor food, myself. N-nothing like sharing a good meal with some-someone."

"It's always food with you, isn't it. Feeling better since the festival?"

Much better. I promise not to get that bad tonight.

[Hiccup.]

"Let's hope not; I'd rather not be covered with your vomit on my wedding day."

Although Jack was fairly certain that once he and Raine settled in a bit, he'd be out at least one night a week with his old drinking buddies, Vash included.

Vash flashes a drunken grin before crossing his heart.

"I promise. No vomit. I think Vivi would kill me if I did that here."

"Excellent. I wonder if my gentle, wise Raine will ever wish to kill me. It seems out of character for her...though these things do happen."

He DID mean "kill" in a figurative sense.

"Well, I think all men do something their wives wish they could kill them for every once in awhile."

Vash takes a quick look around, making sure non of the woman folk are around before he leans in to whisper. Only instead of whispering he speaks loudly still.

"But of course if THEY do something wrong we're not allowed to complain. Ooooooooooh, no! Even when they mess up, it's STILL our fault somehow. Now, how is that fair?"

"Is that so? Not very fair, is it? This time, though, perhaps I should just let her if she likes. Resisting Tia never went well, back when we were hitched."

"Oooooh no, resisting woman? Never a good idea!"

"And if yours sees you in this state? You wouldn't be able to resist her if you tried, lad."

Vash sways a bit as a slightly devilish grin crosses his face.

"And I wouldn't want to." He may have mistaken what Jack had meant by that statement.

He actually probably didn't; Sparrow often packed as many entendres as possible into the things he said.

"Ha! Of course you wouldn't, you lucky man!"
