He willingly approaches for a closer look, drawn by a chef's disposition that quickly kills off suspicion once he's right underneath the heavy branches. After a quick bite of hesitance... he picks one that is bright red and the paler cousin for comparison, rolling them in his hands and checking for plumpness.
