Date: May 29th Location: Starting outside the manor, heading to his room Status: Public (Open to anyone who would like to welcome him home :3) - COMPLETE Summary: Raphael returns from Venice… with presents
Gabriel slid the last book into its proper place and dusted off his hands, wondering whether or not to spend his lunch break taking all the books out, wiping the shelves and dusting each book before replacing it.
Decision made, he had just dragged a table over to the shelf and was beginning to move the books to the table when the arrival of a familiar, but strengthened, presence distracted him. Raphael was back.
He put down Legends of the Egyptian Gods: Hieroglyphic Texts and Translations carefully before sprinting out of the library and down to the front door of the Manor.
Raphael had just slid his bags down when he looked up and saw his big brother. Not even bothering to greet him first he raced towards him and pulled Gabriel into one of his trademark snuggles, embracing him warmly.
"It was wonderful," he said, a purr escaping his throat as he looked up at him with shining green eyes, the color of new leaves unfurling from the ground. "I got to help fix some of the damage at the church and I ate a lot of pasta and got to know this really nice antique bookseller and... Oh! I brought you a present!"
Moving away from him just a little he reached into one of his bags and pulled out something wrapped in colorful pink paper (some things will never change). Inside was the first printed edition of the Commedia.
"Open it!" he grinned, wanting to see his brother's face when he saw it.

"Raphael." He pressed a kiss to Raphael's forehead. "How was Venice?"
