I have an off brand mp3 player.  I'd like your input on a music downloading site that will let me:

-download music to my computer and mp3 player without having to purchase the song.  (This is primarily for my spinning class music).

Limewire is a free program you can use to download music. I have a mac though, and I hear people with PC's sometimes get viruses when using it...so use at your own risk, I suppose. You can also upload your own cds to your computer and then download them to your MP3 Player. the same goes for when you buy any songs. Do you have ITUNES on your computer? where do you keep all your music?

oh and there's also good music downloading groups right here on livejournal... I think I'm in the group called "volumize". It's a great way to get music.

OOOh! that's good to know... I might have to join!

Kaden... I've used Limewire on my PC and it's been fine. You can pay or not pay, depending on how good you want to be. :)

This place is pretty rad: http://www.exerciseradio.com/ They have a lot of different mixes, it's all stuff with a beat.

There are also tons of Podcasts on iTunes that are free and pretty good.
