Arrived Home...
Two long days of driving. Went by and got the key and picked up Jorja. We are now at home in the "burbs." The pilot light on the furnace was out and at 9:15 p.m. the temp in the house is just beginning to border on warm. Made a quick trip to the store so we have some necessities in the food line.. I'm soooooo excited.
Tomorrow we will hold two Book Club Organizing Meetings. One in the morning. One in the evening. I've always wanted to belong to a book club. Now I can belong to two. Grounded...
The ballon flight for this morning was cancelled just as we pulled into the gate. Before we left Indianola for our hotel room in Des Moines the rain began. Looks like an exciting day in the hotel room with TV, PC, and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Could be worse. We'll try again this evening, and if nothing else there will be -
Tomorrow
We are going to the National Balloon Festival for the day! Up, up and away.. No ride this time. But shoud be fun. Can't wait for October when we will actually be going up with the morning ascension in Albuqurque. Even an old gal gets to fly now and then....
