1. One book that changed your life?
It's been a long life, but early on..  Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.  It was my first introduction (at the age of 10) to an independent female character.  I always wanted to be Jo.

2. One book you have read more than once?
The only books I remember reading more than once are Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell and Norah Lofts' trilogy; The Townhouse, The House at Old Vine, and the House at Sunset.  The trilogy traced the life and times through people who occupied a house built in the middle ages through nearly 300 years.

3. One book you would want on a desert island?
Just one or one of many?  I think I'd like to have Jonathan Hull's   Losing Julia.

4. One book that made you laugh?  (and cry)
Most recently; The Final Confession of Mabel Stark By Robert Hough

5. One book that made you cry?
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

6. One book you wish had been written?
It probably has been..  I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

7. One book you wish had never had been written?
Any of the true crime books.  They are frightening, give too much noteriety to the perpetrators and strip the victims of all dignity.

8. One book you are currently reading?
I'm in the middle of Emily Bronte's   Wuthering Heights.

9. One book you have been meaning to read?
The Gardens of Kyoto by Kate Walbert
