Companion Love Thread

Further to fantasyjax's post earlier, I got to thinking about the awesomeness of the companions and how I wished there was some sort of love-in post. So I decided I really should make that myself. I'll put the names of the companions in individual comments to this entry - feel free to reply to a companion's comment with why you love them, or a moment where they're awesome, a fic you love about them, icons, picspam, or anything else that takes your fancy. And yes, I'm aware this proves fantasyjax's point about Everybody Getting a Prize :p
