Sigh
I'm back in Seattle now. And am so jealous my friend is heading to the mikvah on Wednesday. I'm so proud of her and happy for her. But I'm jealous she's finishing a process I can barely get started it feels like. I got things together and then I moved temporarily. I can't wait to get back to DC and Adas Israel. I just don't see the community here. -
Oh Seattle
As I sit here and wait for Irene to hit. I was thinking how sad I am to be leaving a community I felt at home in. I stopped going to shul in favor of sleep while doing grad school full time in the summer and starting a new job. Shabbat
So the first Seder went with a lot of stumbling and fumbling. I am very glad I did it though. Ben was talking about next year so I guess it wasn’t bad. One of the nicest memories I think I have form this Passover is Marcia Miller from Adas asking if I needed a place for a seder and inviting me to her home. It was SO nice. Oh LJ
So I have been off and on LJ for years. I'm back with a new beginning after almost three years. I'm just starting the formal conversion process. I've been keeping a journal off and on in a word doc and I'll try and up load some of the entries. It's been a rough and interesting journey.
