Excerpt:
“Jaejoong-oppa, what took you so long?”
Jaejoong sighed. Looking at his watch. He was exactly twenty minutes late. He gave himself a mental punch, and looked at the girl with a kind expression.
“Sorry Sang-mi.” His kind voice out spoke the loud rain. “There was supposed to be a fan meeting today... I had to sneak my way past this one.”
“I understand.” The girl named Sang-mi looked almost unreal. She was very tall, almost the height of her boyfriend, yet she still managed pull off the latest high heels. Her hair twisted around her slim yet womanly shape, and it was bleached a light brown. She had dark olive-shaped brown eyes which were never covered in the dark make-up that took over the streets recently. Her skin glowed even in the gloomy rain, a characteristic that would make her the perfect match for Jaejoong.

Chapter 1: Complications
“Perfect!”
The near-adult male looked as if he was ready to kill.
“Oh god, another fan meeting?”
It wasn’t a good day. In fact, it looked as if the five boys were completely exhausted and disgusted by their singing careers. They didn’t want to put up with it anymore. The singers didn’t even have a chance to become normal boys for once. Instead, they were treated as if they were a plate of food on a table. With the eyes of every Korean female locked on them, waiting to grab of piece of their astonishing charm.
“Jaejoong, shut up.”
“Yeah, honestly, it can’t be that bad, right?”
The prettiest boy in the group stood up, while his hands lifted himself up from the spongy sofa. He had stunning immense brown eyes, which were now covered by his eyebrows with a frown. His lips were blood red compared to his unbelievable milky-colored skin. He didn’t need any charm to show that he perished. All he needed were a few lines of his well-thought words, and the members of the hottest Korean boy-band around to back him up.
“But you guys, I have a date with her today.”
The youngest yet tallest member of the group looked sharply back at him. “Don’t tell me, it’s her again!” He was chewing a candy bar, his fifth one yet today, and he didn’t seem tired of it.
“Changmin, leave him alone.”
Everyone in the room fell silent.
The male that currently walked into the room had on a pair of dark jeans, and a casual white slogan t-shirt. He was relatively skinny, and most definitely tall. He had messy black hair, a calm personality, and a crystal-clear expression on his face that told everyone that he was the leader around here.
“If Jaejoong can’t make the meeting, then we’ll just have to do it without him.”
“THANK YOU!” Jaejoong had a relieved expression on his face. “Finally, someone understands me! Yunho, I honestly owe you one.”
The man named Yunho smiled. “Don’t worry about it. Hurry up to your date.”
Jaejoong pulled on a jacket and hat to disguise himself against the die-hard fans and walked out the door. He had a pleasant expression on his face, and he undeniably looked late.
On the way out the door, Jaejoong waved a good-bye to Yunho, and gave the other three members a glare.
Everyone in the room gawked towards the leader.
“What the hell were you thinking?” A handsome and dandy male asked.
“Yeah, are you an idiot? You know how long those dates take him!” The male that was speaking currently had a rough and coarse voice. He was the shortest of the five, but he was obviously the most charismatic and confident. Without Junsu, the five members would without doubt fall apart... not to mention lose half of their current fans...
“Let him go.” Yunho replied. “Besides... you should let him enjoy his time.”
“What?”
“Oh... you mean... he doesn’t know we’re...?”
“That’s impossible, not even the manager told him?”
“Are you absolutely positive?”
“He has no idea, trust me.”
The other members looked at Yunho in surprise.
“He will find out soon... at the SM meeting...”

The waitress of the small yet fancy café strode to their table and pulled out a pen. “What may I get for you?” She then realized the face she was staring at. The face of the one of the members of Dong Bang Shin Ki... a.k.a. Korea’s current obsession.
The waitress recklessly reached for the pale-skinned male’s hands. She shook it quickly, and then pulled out her cell phone.
“Oh! It is SO nice to meet you!” She yelled excitedly. “May I take a picture with you...? PLEASE??”
Jaejoong’s expression was rushed. “I’m sorry, but I’m currently on a date with my girlfriend right now.” His eyes flew to Sang-Mi. “It would be very appreciated if you could get us both something to drink.”
The waitress looked outspoken. She then examined the girl sitting across from Jaejoong and glared at her with hateful eyes. She then turned back to Jaejoong. “I’m sorry... my bad... what would you like?”
Jaejoong rotated to face Sang-mi. “Sang-mi... you chose first... what would you like?”
She smiled back at him. “A low-fat café latte with extra crème!” She replied cheerfully. Sang-Mi always liked sweet things, and never settled for a drink without sugar.
The waitress nodded, and then turned back to Jaejoong. “And you, sir?”
“Iced coffee. No sugar added.”
His taste was completely different from Sang-mi’s.
“Sure. I’ll be right back.”
The waitress finally left the table, leaving the two love-birds unaccompanied.
“Ugh... talk about annoying!” Sang-mi ripped off her sweet covering and revealed her much bitter side.
“Don’t blame her. Blame me. It was your choice to date me.” Jaejoong explained. “Like it or not, you’ll have to face some consequences with the fans.”
The girl looked completely furious. He large eyes soon turned into small ones as she squinted at him. She wanted nothing more than to throw a tantrum right now.
“First you leave me waiting out in the rain, and now you’re flirting with a waitress... tell me how I’m supposed to put up with this!”
Jaejoong rolled his eyes. “She was flirting with me.”
“Whatever you say...”
Jaejoong stared at Sang-mi strangely. “What’s wrong with you today? I went all this way to-“
He was interrupted by the waitress.
“One Low-fat café latte with extra crème and one iced coffee with no sugar added.” She smiled unnaturally as she left the two drinks. “Do you need anything else, food, perhaps?”
“No thanks, we’re fine.”
The waitress giggled. “Okay! Tell me if you decide to change your mind!”
As the waitress turned around, the expressions of the couple faded into frowns.
“Annoying... what is there to eat here anyways?”
“Sang-mi... stop... she’s just doing her job.”
“Well... I don’t like it.” She glanced around the café. “Don’t come here anymore. Let’s hurry up and leave.” She ordered.
Jaejoong looked overblown with emotion. This Sang-mi was different than the one that he had met a year ago. She had changed dramatically.
“Sure... why not.”
The two finished their completely different drinks without saying another word.
