Thank you so much for the detailed feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic, especially the characterization and pacing. I had a lot of fun writing this one and the fact that you liked it enough to comment means a lot to me. Thank you.
That was truly amazing! I loved the premise and you carried it out perfectly, from a disenchanted Sam "without family" to Dean trying to get close to Sam and justifying his lies to Sam's complicated emotions as he's trying to integrate the two lives. Great writing and characterization made me stay glued to the screen and I read it in one go (foregoing sleep :)
Thank you for an amazing story that I know I'll come back to.
I found your amazing story by chance while I was finding out about the Salt & Burn Awards. And I'm glad I found it. You totally deserve to win for best wincest fanfiction.
It's the longest supernatural fanfiction I've read so far - and definitely the best! I really liked the way you described Sam and Dean. But I think it wouldn't have worked without the lovely Jess and all the other new characters you created so well.
I think I'll have a look at your other fanfiction now. :-)

I really did think (even having read the premise) that Sam would recognize Dean when they first met in the bar.
I really liked how the beginning of part 5 called back to the Pilot.
(I always like when writers wrap episode dialogue into their stories. :-)
