If there's one lesson her father has passed on to her it is to never do your own dirty work. At least, he would have passed it on to her if it weren't her job to do his dirty work. She doesn't like to acknowledge the aptitude she has for it. That isn't what matters. She is saving Jin's soul by selling her own ( ... )

Ooh, nicely done. AU but still very close with the canon, to where the emotions and comparisons naturally evoke themselves.

I'm kind of fascinated by the way Season Four/Five Sun kind of morphed into Season One Jin, how we saw a darker and more violent side of her (breifly). I'm also kind of in love with the idea of Sun saying, "No more. I'm not letting Jin's soul be the price of being with me," And just stepping in and taking his place.

Oh my ... woah! This is amazing; I adore you so much for taking these (pretty difficult) prompts and turning them into something so ... perfect. I love your Eloise voice so much, and oh my God, Richard! I don't have words. This feels very in-character (despite the fact that we know so little about them). It is ingenious and wonderful.

Girl, you made me care for Eloise. It means you can do anything. You even made me care for Charlie/Eloise and I was seriously so sad for her here, you completely nailed it. Great use of the prompts there, I really loved it. That was outstanding, wow. And your Richard is so good.

So incredible -- I love the tangled relationships between everyone here, both present and not; everything is so in-character and fleshed-out and creates this whole new dimension to what's happening.

And this -- she felt the baby kick, hard, already angry at her. Wow. What a line.

Eloise is such a great character, and you write her so fantastically here -- great work!

Claire had learned that getting in trouble was easy. That it was easier to be sad than happy. It was easier to go out with her friends instead of do homework. Easy to stay out all night making her Aunt Lindsey worry. And it was most definitely easy to deny that she had anything to do with the car accident ( ... )

The next morning Claire woke up feeling hungover from all the drinks she'd had and her vision slightly blurry from the ecstasy. Her jaw also felt tender. She rubbed at her jaw tiredly, observing her surroundings. She was still at David's, fit onto a couch, squished between a boy she didn't know and the cushions. She felt embarrassed - her pants were unbuttoned and she remembered only bits and pieces. All she wanted to do was go home and curl up in bed, but going home meat being lectured by Aunt Lindsey, something she didn't want ( ... )

2006

Gingerbread was Nadia's favorite.

He used to bake her cookies each week. He used to like making it; sometimes he put honey in those cookies, too, or sometimes spices. Sometimes it wasn't cookies but just what was called pain d'epiches when he lived in Paris; he used to add nuts to it, and raisins, and whatever else passed through his head which could make each recipe special. He enjoyed it a lot, not only because it pleased her but also because it please him, because it was a normal thing, because he still remembers fondly the times he used to do it for a living even if they came to an abrupt end (as usual, he thinks lately ( ... )

Thank you so much! Heee, it totally made me feel hungry too while writing it. *sends you virtual gingerbread* I'm so happy that you liked it! I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but if I get any occasion to make things less bleak for Sayid I need to take it. Thanks again! ♥

Awwwwwwwwwww ... this is too lovely. I seriously teared up reading it; I love that Sayid finds some kind of redemption/acceptance with Penny and Desmond, and the gentleness between the two of them. So perfect and sweet. :D

Okay, for all I care Daniel's plane worked, they never went on the island, they met somewhere at a university and this happened. Damn you, I'm all beaming now. This was so lovely really, and AWWWWW at Dan. And I kinda love that Charlotte was cooking dinner for their anniversary. Aw. I totally love it.

YAY!

I'm so, so happy you enjoyed! :D

This is honestly my second fic ever not completely filled with death/destruction/angst galore, and I was a little hesitant about it, so your feedback is even more deeply appreciated than usual. As for the reset, we can always dream that at least someone gets a happy ending, right? ;P
