[Yukimura seems to be a little way outside Goldenrod City, once more training his Pokemon - only this time with actual battles instead of tennis. In fact, it looks like his Eevee is about to knock out a wild Rattata. Yukimura stands nearby, arms crossed, watching the battle intently, and when it's finally over he speaks.]This time was much better, ( Read more... )

[ she doesn't catch the video recording of this, but that's because Rise's out there herself with a Flareon trotting complacently by her heels. She's stopping to watch for a minute, raising an eyebrow. ]

Another one training like it's an epic battle...?

[He notices her, looking over with a slight smile.]

Perhaps not an epic battle, but there's no reason not to take training seriously.

[ the Flareon comes to a halt beside his trainer, looking up at her, then rather curiously over at this boy and his Eevee. He'll stay put for now, though-- even if he does want to investigate. ]

I can't argue with that... [ because guiding people through dungeons and choreography and voice lessons are all serious business. ] But it can be at least a little fun, can't it?

[The little Eevee, Aya, wastes no time in wandering over to the Flareon to say hi. Yukimura glances at them, but doesn't say anything.]

Oh, I think it's very fun. Maybe we just have different ideas of what fun is?

Even I have to train my Pokemon like this sometimes.

Should I be somewhere else?

No. I was just wondering where most people I know are.

Are you getting lonely? You can come out here and train with us, if you'd like.

I can't let them get lazy. They've improved, though.

[He watches Fuji, amused.]

Are you going somewhere?

I can see that. Looks like the Eevee is integrating herself nicely into a Rikkai lifestyle. [The bear grunts, genial, and he pats her on the head absently.]

But no, I'm not heading off to anywhere far, far away. We're taking a walk. [wry--] Or rather, she's walking, and I'm hitching a ride.

She does seem to have an aptitude for it, though she can be a little wild sometimes. Soon I'll start teaching her tennis.

You two make quite a pair, I have to say. What a unique ride.

Ruthless as ever Yukimura, naa? [A little smirk. Also...has Yukimura named his Pokegear?]

It looks like your Pokemon are getting ready to wear black and yellow soon.

Would you expect anything else? [There's a bit of blue tail peeking out from the side of the image - probably one of his Pokemon is operating the gear right now.]

Mm, perhaps. I may have named them after my teammates, but they have some way to go before they're strong enough to be part of Rikkai.

She does seem to like it, although it took me awhile to teach her to obey while we train, instead of trying to wander off and play. But she's still young.
