[Yukimura seems to be a little way outside Goldenrod City, once more training his Pokemon - only this time with actual battles instead of tennis. In fact, it looks like his Eevee is about to knock out a wild Rattata. Yukimura stands nearby, arms crossed, watching the battle intently, and when it's finally over he speaks.]This time was much better,

Yes, unfortunately I can't just play tennis all the time.

She does seem to like it, although it took me awhile to teach her to obey while we train, instead of trying to wander off and play. But she's still young.

My second, actually - my first was a Chikorita, though he's already evolved twice. He's much more obedient.

You have quite a few, don't you? It must be difficult to train all of them.

That sounds exciting - or at least entertaining. And of course I don't mind.

[He brings out his Pokeball and releases his Meganium, who seems a little confused at appearing in a forested area where he has nothing to fight. Confused but happy to be out, and Aya the Eevee looks OMG so happy to have a buddy to play with. Even one much bigger than him.]

This is Gen, he's still the most reliable of all of mine. Not that I have many.

[Yukimura laughs, shaking his head a little.] At least he has big dreams, right? Though if he only loses, it'll be difficult for him to get stronger.

He is big. [Reaching out, Yukimura pats Gen's shoulder/leg.] I suppose I could ride him if I really wanted to.

[He looks at Gen consideringly.] I just might, when we start traveling again. I've been in Goldenrod for some time now. [Glancing at Ted, Yukimura raises an eyebrow.] Oh, really? Are you getting tired of traveling?
