A bit of speculation that I have seen, is that it means Wilson goes both ways.  I actually was already thinking this could be possible because a couple of spoilers said House finds out who Wilson's secret companion is,but they never say secret woman.  Probably reaching

I'm hoping he's not but it could be him just trying to get people back watching show again. I'm so afraid RSL won't be coming back for a S8 if there is one :(

GY really does seem to like messing with people...I like to think it means Wilson goes both ways. :) (It makes me happy because there's a street near where I love called "Wilson" and I get excited every time I see the sign...glad I'm not the only one)

I like your theory and I really hope its true, it would make a lot of sense if Wilson was bi. The word "companion" makes me think of a pet, but why would he keep a pet a secret. I'm guessing it's a hooker (MALE PLZ)

Yeah, it could be a pet. Even better than a BF would be a male hooker because that keeps him single for when House comes back to reality and dumps Cuddy!

But Wilson himself is not a set location. The reason they put the name upside down like that is so that they can flip them in case they want it to be to the left rather than to the right. The sign that GY posted is obviously not real, it's photoshopped onto a real sign in the middle of the street. Doesn't seem like the full picture.

While I'd love for it to be a hint that he 'goes both ways' and it is possible considering the summary mentioning a 'secret companion', there are other options. One option is that it's a sign leading to a wedding. I don't know if it's done that often in the US, but here you often see handmade signs with names leading people to weddings or other parties. Or, the other even more horrible option...'Wilson, exit stage right' or something like it. Meaning he's leaving, possibly dying.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed with you, but I like to prepare for the worst as well. I mean, it's not as if the last season has given us reason to trust them.

I have been thinking for most of this season that Wilson was going to die at the end of this season because of RSL's desire to go back to NY. Then I saw Ethan got a pilot on Fox so I'm grabbing straws and hoping that he's back if there is a S8.
