Yes, there's angst, but it's the good kind of angst, the kind that makes you realize how lucky he is now. ;-)

Awww thank you, you're very sweet. Yes, it's true. And I see this moment as him really grieving for Gallifrey and letting it go once and for all - this is something he has needed to do for a long, long time and it's ROSE that he needed in order to have the strength to move on. Rose is his people now... ;)

This story just keeps getting better.
I liked that you included Gallifrey and it's gone in their universe too. It's a good thing he's got Rose.
I also love dthe bit where Rose wants a baby.

Thank you! As I said above, I think the Doctor grieving Gallifrey was a necessary step in the Doctor's evolution. He needed to let that go, and now that he has, he can finally, truly move forward - with Rose! :)

Yes, it seems to be the consensus that people love the scene with Rose wanting a baby...

It's surprising that things seem to be better in this universe. As if the fact that there's no doctor (or was no doctor or Time Lord) had made the universe better. Strange, huh?

When I read about the library, I was scared that RS would pop up. At the same time, I would love if she did, just so that it was revealed that she had a dark agenda!

It's surprising that things seem to be better in this universe. As if the fact that there's no doctor (or was no doctor or Time Lord) had made the universe better. Strange, huh? True, although the Torchwood in this universe is better than the original - they're far more effective. Also, when dealing with parallel worlds the rules aren't cut and dry - any difference creates an alternate reality so this is one version of that, they just happen to be seemingly better realities.

When I read about the library, I was scared that RS would pop up. At the same time, I would love if she did, just so that it was revealed that she had a dark agenda! oh god no, RS will not be appearing. The only reason I used the library is that I love the idea of the setting, especially while it's flourishing and I wanted to show that. Conveniently it was also a way to steer them toward Gallifrey.

I'm late! I sowwy! I actually read this a lot sooner, but, RL and things, you know. :P *snort* don't appologize. It's TOTALLY fine. I have about 5 stories/vids of yours open and waiting for me in another browser window. Stupid RL has not allowed for time to do much more than editing lately. I'm hoping to get caught up this weekend! Huzzah!

Anyway I swear you are trying to kill us with the fluff! I loved every word of this. Oh, YAY! Thank you. Interestingly, you are one of the few people to comment on the top end of this chapter - most people have been focused on the ending. So thank you - I had quite a lot of fun dreaming up these adventures so I'm glad they were enjoyed!

I almost died laughing when they tried to contain Rose for sneezing, and they had to run. And that was "enough adventuring" LOL! What a far cry from the old days. :D What a doll, he is. *squishes him* LOLOLOL Well, it has been over 5 years since they've done any proper travelling - they're bound to tire more easily.... oh who am I kidding? They just wanted ( ... )
