So King George is back! Have we seen him in Storybrooke yet? I feel like we haven't (I really need to go and rewatch all of S1).

He was featured in the episode in which Snow/Mary Margaret was facing jail time for the "murder" of Kathryn Nolan, as a prosecuting attorney.

I hate say this . . . especially since Henry is a boy, but I'm getting a little weary of him. His aggressiveness was understandable back in S1, when he was the only one - aside from Rumple - who knew about the curse. Now, he's . . . he's getting in the way. I'm sorry, but he's annoying me. I found him especially annoying in this episode. In many ways, he is his mother's child. And I'm not being complimentary.

Henry has annoyed me for awhile in how he treats Regina, kid or not. Trying to take her down and calling her mom. Also all his wanting to help and act like an adult and no one really gives him the back off he deserves as he IS a kid clearly in actions and age aggravates me. We got a good moment on why he's resistant to Regina, her making him feel crazy, and his sorta sadness she really IS the evil queen, mixed feelings which saved him this season so far, the end of last I was done with him. Afraid the balance will be lost and I get back to that place. I'd like a clarification on how much must be missing from the book, don't feel like her backstory could be. I'm actually glad getting Snow(as Snow not MM)/Emma and less Emma/Henry for a bit, good for her growth especially.

*nods* I suspect Henry wouldn't be so hostile to Regina, if Regina's backstory were in his book.

>Cora's line about wanting to see her daughter again nearly made me laugh.. I was like, sure you want to see her again -
well, to be fair, Cora never said it would be a *happy* reunion. :)

I think one episode called him "David" in Fairytale land...though my mind may be merging together an ep and a review. (he is, after all, a sheepherder who becomes king)

I think Rumplestiltskin would have been like "you again?"

I can see why the writers didn't want to extend Snow's cursed state for more than an episode...this was more a psychological torture than anything else. (and what was with that amulet? until Snow's comment that they're going to have a child, I thought "maybe it doesn't let itself fall into the hands of the barren?")

LOL at Charming's "Is there something I should know?"
(he's probably thinking back over every time he pinned her to the ground)

> Regina being forced to step down as mayor was not at all a surprise. I wonder who will end up taking over?Charming. I don't think anybody will challenge him (Whale, maybe) - ( ... )

Also we already knew curse was broken, it was kind of dull really unless is a driving force in George's on going anger. That's kind of what I'm expecting.

>Also we already knew curse was broken
well,, yes we did...but before the parting-of-the-ways scene, we didn't know how it was broken, or how long it might take. (there might've been a little quest involved)

it is nice that it explained a bit more of King George's reaction - it wasn't just the breaking of the alliance with Midas...it was more the fact that King George took Charming in like a son, and Charming ran away.

Yes, I think this was meant to give us more of George's motivation as well as to make the Snow/Emma stuff more powerful

This episode made me cry so much too. In fact just thinking about it makes me cry. The whole, Emma/snow part where snow was telling her all the things that were suppose to happen. Teaching her to walk and say her first words. Then when she talked about losing it all. Then Emma opening up. And then finally Snow looking at the nursery the way it was and feeling so much loss. I was in tears the whole time!! Snow is so strong she doesn't like people seeing her emotional but I get the feeling that this isn't the last time we will see them be emotional. There is no way you fix 28 yrs of loss in one emotional moment.

I hate Cora but I knew there was going to be a switch in the power plays when they made Regina give her powers up to "become better". Cora is going to be the new evil and thankfully Regina didn't throw the book away because she will be the only one to match her mother.

King George is going to also be an evil contender in the future. With Henry and Charming.

I wish Lancelot had not been a puppet in FTL real time. I really liked ( ... )

I get teary thinking about it too. Especially in regards to the scene you mentioned. That hit me hard and was just so moving and heartbreaking. Oh I think this is just the beginning of what we're going to see between Emma and Snow. They both have a lot to deal with and it will take a long time for them to personally resolve some of their issues. I'm going to enjoy watching it ( ... )

It was really impressive how they managed to have three plotlines that all felt complete and not cut short or rushed.

I agree. They did a good job. I do think the SB stuff could have been expanded upon more but then the other two timelines would have suffered and I felt like in this ep, they were more important. SB got it's time to shine last week. So it worked well for me.
