I have just figured out why some people iron their sheets (she said, eyeing the folded-over top and sides of the sheets she is folding fresh from the dryer). Not that I'm going to do it. But now I know why. -
A question about pegs
Any ideas on whether it's okay to bleach wooden pegs? My wooden pegs have gone black and mouldy from being left out in the rain, and I can't find more in the shops (easy in Spring, not so much in Autumn). So I've soaked them in dilute bleach, rinsed them in a big tub of water, and rinsed them again ( Read more... ) -

This is the list of things I intend to accomplish before Olivia's party on Sunday (some as a sort of voodoo so that it won't rain and we won't have her party here anyway, but at the beach like we've planned)
- Finish painting in bathroom

It occurs to me to remember that many times in my life I re-arranged furniture after 10:00 at night. I've often done odd things like this -- starting giftwrapping at midnight, going grocery shopping at 11:00 pm, etc ( Read more... ) -

If your "to-do" list is supposed to be created and posted every Sunday night, to start on each Monday morning, do you waste time posting it on Tuesday mid-day, or just wait until next week?
