That is so frustrating about jobs! I have so been there and know this frustration well. If it helps, I will keep my eyes peeled for any financey/accounting jobs where I work and forward them on to you, if you like? Even though I work in Port Melb, the company's money-related jobs are all located in the (much nicer!) Camberwell office. Let me know. :)

copperbadge has a massive audience, especially of writers and creative types in the US, so if you are looking for leads I think that'd provide some help. On the other hand, the comments list is now massive. But still!

Don't feel too badly about the car - my dad knocked the wing mirror off his old car, reversed back to retrieve it and ended up running it over and breaking the glass :P
