Yesterday I worked in Sydney! It was the induction day for the new graduates at Wolfram & Hart, and we got to go meet them and catch up with each other as well since most of the 2010 grads were starting our new rotations too.

I just watched the last episode of The Walking Dead.

I would say I'm breaking up with it, but I think my hopes were stomped too thoroughly by the second episode to ever be more than hopeful interest to see if it would get better. BUT. I AM DONE WITH MY CASUAL INTEREST.

When I was away in the UK I found out about Frankie, a cute, slightly odd* Australian bi-monthly magazine about fashion, crafts, movies, TV shows, food, histories of swear words - all things that I find interesting. When I came back I subscribed, and I'm now contemplating renewing my subscription for next year.

I know this isn't new, but it's particularly sucky right now.

Depressing, but I suspect more research would be needed to get to the heart of the matter - like, did the researchers control for socio-economic status, addresses of applicants, is it only particular industries, male vs. female, etc. etc.?
