My Saturday

The rain stopped at around lunchtime and I went out in the garden to work on some of the pots: I lifted the dahlias and chocolate cosmos, and planted the bulbs.

Even with the rain and winter approaching, you can still find some colour and beauty.

I love November/December in my region of the US. It's mostly crisp and sunny without all the humidity we tend to get from May-September.
"Winter" usually sets in after New Year's....

I still think I'd like to experience the UK in the off-season - maybe even Scotland....

Some would argue that perhaps it's always off-season in the UK! lol

I couldn't deal with all the humidity and heat you get there - that's why I try not to visit my parents in northern Italy in the summer.

Enjoy the book! Grey and gloomy here and I'm in a lot of pain from the skin cancer procedure. It's like they gave me a bad sunburn. Everything is burning, itchy and my head is throbbing. I probably have a few more days of this. I can't go outdoors at all today, just like yesterday. Hope Adrian gets home soon and that the Winter isn't too bad for you.

HUGS!

So sorry to hear about the pain you are in. I hope it has eased off.

Hugs back!
